    Watching videos doesn't do these justice. I rode my harley 100 miles to nearest indian dealer in Murfreesboro Tennessee to see them in person. I was blown away! The leather seat and bags on them are nothing short of a peice of art. Looks like the finest leather known to man was used on them. Indian really knocked it out of the park with these

    • @Skyerzen
      @Skyerzen 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Except the buckles that lock the bags are fake, and the actual clips that do the actual locking are made of cheap ass plastic and they break easy... Also, the leather wasn't anything to write home about. It was alright, and even if it was the best leather your ass had the pleasure to fart into, leather doesn't make a bike better... you see, I could easily stretch a piece of the most excellent exotic, supple Italian leather on my cheap ass FZ-09 and my bike would remain a cheap ass japanese bike... Except I have an engine that produces 3 times the power than this monstrous waste of good metal, better suspension (and that's saying something since the FZ-09 came with the shittiest suspension ever strapped on a Yamaha) better ergos, I can stand on my pegs and liberate my spine from having to take a beating! and a bike that doesn't look like it came out straight from a small town parade...

    I have this same bike in this video. I have no idea why Indian quit making the vintage. Its the reason I bought the Indian. I have been riding for over fifty years and have owned many motorcycles Harleys to Honda. This is the finest motorcycle I have ever ridden. Balance, power, how it handles is second to none. Needless to say will never sell mine, wish they would bring it back for us traditional motorcycle people.

      I have the same bike as well. I owned a Victory before I bought the Indian, can’t say I was very happy when they ended Victory. As much as I love my Indian, I don’t trust the company.

      except it is the ugliest, tackiest, gaudiest piece of shit I've seen. But I won't argue style tho, since beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I will only say this tho, most people riding this flashy sofa have walrus mustaches... tells ya how much they know about style...

      Anil Prajapati not a very good engine. it emanates a lot of great when stopped, it's freakishly heavy and produces the same horsepower a cheap blender produces. yamaha's 847cc triple produces a lot more power and torque, than this chrome anvil. and it weights a lot less too!

Lot's of tech on their bikes), BMW (damn good bikes that ride like gods), Triumph (well made bikes that ride like dreams), Yamaha (crazy innovations like a super ridiculously torquey triple and a bunch of really fucking insane bikes full of electronics), and KTM (let's just say.... HOLY SHIT KTM...)

    I love it. I'll probably buy one. My problem is the keyless ignition. WTF?! A motorcycle is, at its core, a motor-cycle. I love me a carburetor. But this turns it into a Prius. Have a keyed kit I can buy and install and I'll buy one.

    What some of the die-hard Harley lovers can't come to grips with is that their 'cherished' brand now has some serious competition from people who mean business! For too long now, H-D has been the only 'real' game in town and they got a bit too complacent! It's time for TMC to wake up and smell the coffee! If I was a H-D exec. I'd be working REAL hard to update the entire line with quality machines.

    I like it, but I still think the tank is about 10% too small looking in comparison to the engine. It just looks wrong. Plus the motor/trans combo looks rather.......victory but with rounded heads. But I will take that back if it's a true push rod motor and those PR tubes are real and not just for looks.

    I bet that fucking rocks on the highway.

    • @Skyerzen
      @Skyerzen 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      MrSlowestD16 it doesn't. it's vague, not planted and it wobbles. The windshield rattles like it's about to come off and it sends buffeted air to your helmet which makes your helmet vibrate... not shake.... vibrate... the legs forward also suck on the freeway when hitting bumps since you can't get on your feet.bi recommend a Multistrada or a f1200gs BMW. for highway. shit, my fz-09 with no wind protection is better at highway than this

    • @MrSlowestD16
      @MrSlowestD16 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you prefer an FZ09 you'd never be happy on this bike. It's completely different.
      I've ridden with shields at the height you're saying with the helmet buffeting. It depends heavily on the rider's height. Buffeting aside, sounds like something was wrong with your bike, TBH. Many people have reviewed this thing and nobody reporting what you're talking about with vague handling and windshield rattling. I certainly didn't notice any at around 70 or so, but I wasn't trying to max it out.
      I think you mean R1200GS, not F...but yeah, that's more my cup of tea for touring as well, but somebody who's interested in this won't be interested in that. Comparing adv category to near dresser cruiser is just silly.

    • @Skyerzen
      @Skyerzen 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      yeah, I mean R1200GS. What a bike! Test rode that one and loved it. I love my FZ-09. It was cheap, and it's capable as hell.
      I was going nearly triple digits when I was rattled by the helmet vibrations, I'm 6'2". The reason probably nobody has reported the vague and wobbly characteristics of this hunk of gaudy shit is because they are comparing it to the other gaudy hunks of shit in this walrus mustachoed men middle crisis of a category. Kind of the same reason everyone keeps throwing shit on the FZ-09 suspension as being shit. It IS absolute shit if you compare it with top of the line liter bikes and super nakeds. But the FZ-09 actually has a good suspension compared to all the other entry bikes it is priced against.
      So there you go, they don't report the crappy handling because all the bikes they ride have crappy handling...

    • @MrSlowestD16
      @MrSlowestD16 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah but I think you have unrealistic expectations for it. Expecting a dresser or hwy tourer to not be "vague" is like being mad at an R1 for its utter lack of offroad performance. It's out of it's domain, you can't really knock it.
      A. It wasn't meant to go triple digits consistently, it's meant to tour at 70-80.
      B. It's not meant to handle well, it's meant to tour
      I don't think you can call this a middle-age crisis category, it's for old timers who seriously stopped giving a fuck at all about anything except comfort. It's passed mid-life crisis. Can't knock it for not being in the same category as what you prefer..that's just silly.
      The FZ09 is praised by everybody, and while the suspension may be a bit parts-bin, for the price it's really not.
      The R1200GS is indeed a fantastic jack of all trades. I put over 1k on one while in AK.

    • @Skyerzen
      @Skyerzen 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      MrSlowestD16 people should still give a fuck about getting more for their money. if I'm going to pay 16000 for a bike, I rather get a lot of tech than fake gas caps, fake buckles and tassels everywhere. the machine should outperform anything in the market at its niche... cruising, but it is outperformed at this by basically any bike that's not a super sport. and they are not comfortable. at that heft, they are uncomfortable to move around at slow speeds and having my legs forward makes my spine have to deal with a lot more punishment. that R1200GS tho... THAT'S comfortable!

      Indians, HDs are shitty bikes. Looks designed by a walrus mustachoed man, with tech from the 1950's, the clearance of a gaddamn vacuum cleaner, and the weight of a fucking school bus. Shitty shitty shitty.
      My FZ-09, as an example is a cheap ass bike. $9000 new, comes with a torque monster of an engine. At 847cc it throws at you 60lbs of torque at its peak and 40 immediately from opening the throttle. It's butter smooth, the ergos are super comfortable, it's light! 400lbs, and the best part, IT'S MODERN! It has TC, ABS, three throttle modes, and modern suspension geometry!
      Indian: rattles at road speeds, lacks power up top, feet forward means spine receives more punishment from the road, vague and wobbly at highway speeds, and not confidence inspiring when you scrape even at slow turns in the canyons and the brake is nearly unresponsive when going downhill.
      FZ-09: butter smooth at road speeds, power from the get go all the way to the top, feet under me means I can use my legs to free up my spine from getting punished, planted, responsive at freeway speeds, capable in the canyons.
      So... my opinion? it's not a bike if it can't do bike stuff... and Indians can't even do the basics... so, no, Indian are not bikes, they are flashy-look-at-me accessories for middle aged men with insecurities...
