Lucas Oil Kids R Us - Round 1 - Wolverley - Kids Motocross Racing

The summer series has started, Lucas Oil Kids R Us Summer Series 2023. I've been so excited to do this series, great tracks, great riders, and, so far, great weather.
Unfortunately, I can't say the same about my bike, after having all the usual pre race work done on it, I was hoping to start the season with a bang. Which. in a way I did. One was when my brand new chain snapped and completely wedged itself between my sprocket and swing arm. And again, when my rear brake master cylinder decided to burst a seal and leave me with no rear brakes.
I wasn't going to give up that easily, with a spare chain to hand we swapped that over, and who needs brakes in a race anyway.
After a not so smooth sailing race weekend, I finished 14th overall. All things considered, I'm pretty happy with that.
Roll on the next round, I'm stepping things up a notch.
