    Having lived in Chatham in the 60's and 70's this brings back so many memories. The architecture at Wellington and Fifth was definitely impressive.

    They should've kept these old buildings I love walking around an finding all the old style buildings and such

    Nice Video and narrative. One thing of interest if you ever, is Paincourt, Grande Point. How did these outlying villages come to being.

    They had some beautiful architectural designs in the day. It's too bad most have been torn down or they've been destroyed by fire etc. I wonder if these structural designs were to have continued what Chatham would have looked like in today's world?

    Plans to visit there someday. I was born in St Joseph's. My ancestors settled Chatham. My father was Station Master for CN Railroad. My great aunt Bertha Gonyou and Jack Gonyou were my God parents, took care of me while my parents were gone. If it weren't so far from Toronto I would've visited there by now. And all my ancestors are gone from there. I heard it was run down.

    I was hoping you had some pictures of the gray family (Gray Dort Motors) mansion 143 William st S. I personally remodeled some of it so if you want the history on it please contact me. Great video 👏
