Damian Bartolacci I'm 2 years late on this comment but I like the outcome of the show but not necessarily the ending if that makes sense. It felt rushed and badly paced in comparison to the rest of the final season. But I like the ending in a sense that it's not a happily ever after ending. It feels very real and not like something out of a fairy tale, which I love. I'm just sad that the mother dying gets two lines in the entire show and that Barney's character development is rushed and doesn't make much sense.
I will never forgive them for splitting up Robin and Barney. Years of characters' development just gone. Also Robin and Ted got back together SEVERAL times during the show and it never worked so why should I assume that it will work this last time?
What is wired is even Barney getting married, he was set up the whole time that he is not gonna get married. She didn't have anything special to keep him married.
Damn I'm late with this but it made sense for them to split them up. Barney was either traveling with Robin or staying at home and felt like she was abandoning him like his dad did. He's always had these issues. Now he has a daughter that won't leave him. Ted and Robin work at the end because Robin supposedly is in NYC permanently and has traveled the world, and Ted has the kids he always wanted which Robin couldn't give him & didn't want originally. Those were the 2 main issues that drove them apart. Traveling and kids. Even after all those years we see that they both still love eachother.
@@RoninOCE It's understandable, but the writting was way too drawn out. An ENTIRE SEASON (if i'm remembering correctly) of building up for this big moment between the 2!! And!!! Oh... they it didn't work out... and we only got a few scenes with the mystery mother for which the entire fuking show was building up for. So you have 1 season built up and AN ENTIRE SHOW BUILD UP, just for them both to fall completely dog shit flat.
I just finished the show for the first time last night. I knew how it ended before watching so I already knew I would hate it and yeah I absolutely agree with what you said. It doesn't make any sense! The biggest punch in the gut is killing off the mother. That was savage!!
This Video Helped me in one thing 🙏. All this time i was grieving for Tracy's ⚰ Death.... Like "😭TED & TRACY is so perfect, why does the writers have to split them!". But after seeing 2:22 that she couldn't even remember his on-screen pair name, I realized that it's just a TV Show.... Why do i have to grief?. I'm finally Moving on from that grief.
Well the "core 5" have known each other for so long, of course Cristin has not the same kind of chemistry with them. But I think in the show it worked so well! Especially Lily/Tracey scenes were amazing!
Cristin is 11 years younger than Josh, besides she was only there for 7-8 months......Except Jason Segel,I don't think she had chemistry with anyone on the set in real life, she just didn’t got that enough time to make that
Ava Meyers The last scene she was in I believe was the scene where she is laying on a hospital bed, but she didn't have any lines for that one. So, it was most likely the scene where she says (referring to Robin's mother), "Of course she showed up, what kind of mother would miss her daughter's wedding?" (Ted starts to cry, and Tracy cheers him up by talking about Barney's scuba suit pick up) That seems like the scene that would make the most since.
LMAO WHAT IS THIS FIRST SHE FORGOT JOSH'S NAME AND HE'S THE PROTAGONIST AND YOUR HUSBAND IN THE SHOW AND THEN SHE CALLS HIM RADMAN INSTEAD OF RADNOR WHAT IS THIS WHAT THE FUCK CRISTIN I TRUSTED YOU????
ValgreenMex im honestly not sure because josh reacted like really awkwardly and she just kinda continued i mean it wouldn't surprise me though because they didn't work together for a very long time but still .... i mean she forgot his first name
Vamanos Ninja I'm guessing as such. I never researched it too hard, but since Carter is pretty much Ted or visa versa I'm guessing they wrote the death ending on purpose. And to me real life always wins over fantasy. That's why I think the original ending is better and recutting the footage and bringing Bob Sagget back for the alternate ending just to cater to complaining fans I thought was a coward move. It's Craig and Carter's story to tell, not the fans. Never question an artist's artwork.
On the show may be Ted was able to marry Tracy, but in real life I don’t think man like Josh can ever date and make it work with a girl like Cristin😅 They have totally no chemistry and friendship.....It is weird how Cristin would forgot her onscreen life partner's real name, even more weird how Josh reacted to it
@@HelloThere-zt7jm I don’t think he had enough chemistry with Cobie, this only worked out because Cobie was there for 8 years....Cobie had far great chemistry with NPH,even with Jason than Josh..........I think he had a good chemistry with Alyson but after Himym seemingly that splitted up too..
She literally forgot her onscreen husband’s real name😅,with whom she has almost 80% of her scenes done together.......Besides they're not such a good friend in real life neither they've a good chemistry ,as Cristin was there for a short time only
I don't think he was actually upset, it seemed more like Cristin just paused in her speaking to gather her thoughts and then he said "Josh" as if she couldn't think of his name just as a lil joke.
Anas Al-ameen Its based on 3 Persons Lily Marshell and Ted who represent real people the storyline and the others were mostly made up with some inspirations.
I wish the mother had a bigger role she's so great
lol Cobie Smulders is hilarious and its amazing how much like Robin she acts even in real life. Also at 1:44 she said "But umm" where's my drink???
I noticed that too!! Haha I'm just laughing by myself watching that.
Ken93Cy josh noticed it because he laughed xD
Now that I noticed it thanks to you, I heard someone screaming just that in the background... Or am I going crazy?

Cristin is such a cutiepie

Who’s Cristin?
Fluffy Vampire the mother
Cristin is so pretty I can't take it
Josh Radmon.... omg, i died laughing.
I didnt get it. Did she say a wrong Name or why is He correcting her?
There's a little bit of Ted and Marshall in them
It's based on them. Also why they stuck so desperately to Ted ending up with Robin
I will never forgive them for killing the mother.
Jehu Dagohoy Look at the bright side, it has multiple endings where it does end good.
Jehu Dagohoy honestly killing the mother would’ve been good if he didn’t just go back to robin all of the sudden
Skullcrusher430 but to the audience it happens all of a sudden
I will never forgive them for splitting up Robin and Barney. Also for not giving us atleast a season with the mother
There's nothing to forgive. Guess what HIMYM isn't your typical sitcom it did not have the perfect ending
I think the writer notice Cobie tendencies to say 'but umm' and write it into Robin's character. Same goes to Jason with his smoking.
"We came up with this and another terrible idea..." yea the ending.
Damian Bartolacci the ending was great
Agreed! Loved the ending!
juussstt think about the ending not happening and that she didn't die :)

does anyone know where i can watch the full panel?
Let’s wear dark colors and not tell Milioti
Where is Jason Segal ?

Those 2 dorks made this amazing show? Good for them

Cristin is so beautiful. Good lord.
i need to watch this full
is there a full version of this??
What scene is Cristin talking about?
The umberella scene
How they met
what scene is Cristin talking abt? is it the proposal scene?

It’s most likely the moment they met.
No....It was the Umbrella svene, the moment they first met....It was Cristin's audition scene too
The station scene with the umbrella

1:50 Robin still says "um" In real life also
Which scene is she talking about?
I feel like its the "meeting" scene

who did cobie’s and cristin’s eyebrows they messed up their beautiful natural eyebrows :D
How the wife can forget the husband’s name 🤣🤣

Not all of it has to be 100% from life. Writers come up with an idea. Obviously it was a plot idea that would only work if they were a success.
No man,are you crazy???😂
Writer Carter Bays, with whom Ted was loosely based on,is married and have 3 kids😄

Yes
Wayne Brady

Is cristin totally mad!? She is a misfit here as the others r such gud friends.. Of course she had 1% of the others's scenes
Muskan Sharma 0.01%
But umm.. hahahahahahahah

😂
