If Your Pet Does This, Big Danger's Coming!

  • Pets' sense organs - ears, eyes, nose, paws, and hair - are much more developed than those of humans. So our pets can get a lot of information from the outside world. This helps them know when trouble and danger is approaching.
Pets can hear and see what you can’t. They even have super intuition. They can predict natural disasters or bad weather. They can detect bad people.
They can also anticipate dangerous situations and even help their beloved human.
In this video, we will talk about how your pets try to warn you when danger approaches.
0:00 Pets can warn you when trouble's coming
0:57 Cat predicts mount vesuvius eruption
1:30 How pets can predict earthquake
2:25 Animals predicted disaster in China
3:53 Pets can predict bad weather
5:25 Pets use supervision to warn owners
6:45 Pets have supernose that has saved people's live
8:10 Dogs can detect bad person
Before a natural disaster, many changes happen in the environment. Prior to earthquakes for example, chemicals are released from the layers of the earth. And a flow of ions is created by the friction of the Earth’s underground plates rubbing together.
Animals can detect these minor changes in the earth's magnetic and electric fields.
Animals however, begin to behave strangely long before the start of an earthquake. Reports have shown that dogs and cats often show behaviors such as being restless, trying to escape, or wanting to be near the owner before a disaster.
Asian researchers have been studying animal behavior prior to seismic events.
They discovered that when a disaster approaches, dogs restlessly bark, howl or run away. Cats flatten their ears, meow loudly, and try to escape with their kittens.
Birds and fishes can also provide a natural early warning system for people.
Many people who live in seismic zones keep canaries at home. When an earthquake is coming, this little bird flaps its wings and starts to chirp fearfully.
Japanese householders in earthquake areas often keep goldfish in a bowl. If the fish swim about in a frantic manner, it is believed to signal an approaching earthquake. Rabbits and deer have also been observed to run in terror from epicenter zones some hours before an earthquake.
Animals can also sense when bad weather is coming.
Your pet is sensitive to drops in barometric pressure and atmospheric electricity that come with storms or hurricanes, and they can hear low frequencies that humans can’t, like far-off thunder. Experts also believe that our pets can smell the metallic odor in the atmosphere that occurs right before a storm.
Many animals can quickly sense these changes and will often behave strangely, flee, or hide for safety. If your pet sleeps with their backs to the radiator or fireplace, it may be a sign there will be severe frost or snow. If a thunderstorm is approaching, they usually rush around the house.
Even humans can have reactions to barometric pressure changes-explaining why some claim they can predict a storm due to the headache they get the day before the storm’s arrival.
But it’s not just an earthquake and bad weather that your pet can warn you about.
Scientists have found that many animals such as cats and dogs can see ultraviolet lights. Your four-legged friend can see a whole lot more than you ever could.
Dogs, for example, use ultraviolet light to follow urine marks.
UV light might also be of assistance in wild canines as a method of spotting and trailing potential prey.
A reindeer may use ultraviolet light to see polar bears, which, in visible light, blend in with the snow.
With this superhuman vision, pets have saved their owners more than once.
In Italy, a girl returned from school and went to the garden with her cat. She settled comfortably on a bench. And the cat was sleeping on her lap. Suddenly the cat jumped and began to hiss loudly. The girl looked up and saw a venomous snake had expertly camouflaged on the tree. The cat grabbed the viper with its teeth and defeated the snake.
A cat or dog’s sense of smell has saved people more than once. This is because your pet’s sense of smell is many times stronger than humans.
A dog’s nose is so powerful that it allows them to find their way back home after being lost on a trip or after wandering away. They follow their own scent trails for miles to retrace their steps, and if the wind is right, they can even use their owners’ scent as well.
Likewise, cats can also find their way back home because they leave olfactory traces along the way. Your cat rubs their face, scratches trees, and pees to diffuse their pheromones and leave a trace.
Some studies have shown that dogs and cats can even sense a bad person. When your pet hiss or bark at someone, it may be a sign that they don’t like them. Scientists have found that dogs are much more likely to accept a treat from a person who shows kindness toward their owner, and they are more likely to show distrust and growl if they see a person is being mean to their owners.

Always know when there's going to be high winds. One of my cats puts her ears back, has a wild look in her eyes and runs round the house jumping on and off furniture and shelves. She's never wrong.

    Two stories.
I worked in a nursing home where we had a “death cat!” She would go to someone’s room and start sleeping in the person’s bed, hanging out there, only leaving to eat and use the litter box. Inevitably, that person would die shortly after this started. Then the cat would move to the next person, and stay until they died. It happened so often I don’t think it was a coincidence.
I once worked with a woman who had a fish tank at home. She said that her fish would point their heads down and their tails up right before an earthquake. ( we lived in California and had frequent earthquakes.)

Regarding cat & smells, 30 years ago, when I was I child, our neighbours had cat.
After maybe a couple of years, our neighbours moved 800kms away bringing their cat with them.
Few months later, the cat showed up where we lived. In disbelief we called our neighbours that explained to us that she disappeared.
🤔 So can anyone explain how a cat that travelled 800 kms by car managed to get back? 🤔
(PS: the cat wasn't dumped somewhere on their way as they sent to us a photograph of them with the cat in their new home.)

There was a pet cat of one of Russel Williams victim that saw him hiding in the basement. The woman went to go check and saw her cat staring directly at him in the dark. Idk how that detail came out but I'm assuming she was the victim that had been attacked by Russel on two separate occasion with the second one resulting in her death.

With my cat, she was yowling for two hour and looking up to get onto the roof, which was 3 metres high eventually she decided to cling high up on the fly screen door. In the whole process of this happening. I heard a sound like a crack then a rumble. Tonga Volcano, 5000 km away.

Cats navigate not only with a smell, but geomagnetic fields as well - there are numerous cases of how cats made their way back to the place they were moved from even across the country(or beyond), I had such case in my family as well - cat ran away upon arrival to a new city just to show up in their old house few months later, even though it's been around 2000km far.
At the same time, often cats are too confident of their internal sense of direction and neglect cognitive environment processing, which gets them in trouble in the vertical urban environment - the same cats who could navigate to their house from anwhere they can walk from, won't be able to get to their floor, unless they memorized the exact path well.
So if you live in an apartment building above the first floor and your cat got out and lost, start the search by seeking through the other floors.
And if you move to another place, get your old neighbors (or new lodgers) contacts just in case your cat is lost in process (cats are really stressful when forcibly moved and often will try to escape just for sake of it) and try to reach an old habitat. Well, unless the cat is of some trendy breed with no survival capabilities - then I wouldn't count on it, and I'm in general pretty much against adopting cats from anywhere other than rescuing from the street or animal shelter. Remember that animals are not toys. You become responsible, forever, for what you have tamed.

When I was a child, Daddy went hunting, I went to my Grandmother’s house for the night. Mother was home alone with our pets. At 6:30 the next morning, my wire hair terrier woke Mother up because the house was on fire. There was so much smoke that Mother couldn’t see, so Molly led her to an outside door and safety. She had a few burns, but was okay.

I too can sense storms. It hurts me a lot depending on how strong it is. Either my head, bones(yes bones), or joints start to hurt when there's a storm coming. I hate it but it helps. Also some cats and dogs can talk, not as well as us but good enough to tell us stuff. Even their body language is just as good as telling us what's going on.

I was so young I didn’t understand he was a tame animal n all tht. But the girl I gave him to she let him outside n he ran away😂😢

Humans have the same "super powers." Only, ours have been relentlessly programmed out of most of us.
My dog would howl before an earthquake, and kept me safe from humans who had bad intentions on several occasions. He would come over, sit on my foot and growl at the person who set off his doggy radar. When they saw and heard that, they knew the jig was up. Once, while going for a walk in nature, he actually pushed me down and sat right in front of me between me and an oncoming hiker he didn't like and growled at him, until the hiker passed us. A rule became that, if my dog didn't like you, neither would I. Another dog of mine kept me from stepping on a rather large sidewinder while walking in the desert. The snake was partially hidden in the sand, which was the same color as the snake, and it was dusk, making it difficult to see it. The snake was right in our path, and I would have stepped on it if the dog hadn't started barking at it and pointing it out.

One thing about having a dog. No one is going to sneak up on you! Even a small dog is helpful, because although they may not be able to fight off an intruder, you will know they are coming, and can do something to save yourself! But you have to listen to your dog! They’re smarter than you may think!

It wasn’t until l was told that next door they were doing these things that explained why my dog would act up. He still does every now and then. They still do other horrible things. I am thankful for my dog. I need to move to a new home one day soon.

The temptation of highly fertile and mineral-rich volcanic soil are more than enough to tempt people to living on a very close proximity with an active volcano either to mine those minerals or to build a highly productive farms/plantations to supply the nearby towns without have to think about spent their money too much fertilizer. Other than that, sometimes people are simply have no other place to go since their ancestors already settle in there for many generations.
