I love that short coat pattern from Unfettered patterns I have printed the pattern and ordered gorgeous wool fabric from Guthrie Ghani just need to get on and make it! 😅
I have the unfettered wool coat cut out from a thrifted wool boucle and i just found a sew along from the Sew Happy TH-cam channel. I do like their patterns
Thanks Sam! I think I've already downloaded the Gillette pattern, i must look for it in my downloads. I love that short jacket. I am going to look at a few of the other patterns later today.
Some nice patterns there, some I've not heard of. I did make the Tessuti Monroe and have to say it's not my favourite! The sleeves were quite tight in relation to the loose fitting body. I do like that first cardigan though, might give that a try. I have already made three Harpers, but buttons would be good.
Thank you, glad you liked the patterns 👍 I’ve actually made the monroe since recording this & would agree the sleeves are tight, similar to their other pattern the Mandy box tee but I think that’s supposed to be the style of them. I used a lovely tencel jersey which is soft either way plenty of stretch & it’s really comfortable to wear- I don’t have particularly muscular arms though, so I guess that helps 👍
@@Frugalisama I imagine that fabric would be better - I used a thickish fleece backed fabric, but it did have a good amount of stretch. I quite like the Southbank, but I am also thinking about the Toaster, but I don't really want to buy any more patterns, especially when they are so similar(ish).
@ I’m wearing my Toaster today as it happens, it’s a good pattern, I’ve made 3. It was released as a freebie in a magazine a while ago, so you may be able to pick it up cheaper on eBay perhaps
Okay, this is the 3rd time the Mimi G cardigan has come across my timeline so I'll start this one this weekend. Will I finish? The world may never know😅
We are in Texas and it's been cold, then cool, then back to cold. Now they are predicting snow next week, so any of these will be handy. We haven't had snow for several years.
It's always a good day when I get to watch a new video from you. Thanks so much.
So nice of you, thank you 🤗
Thanks Sam. REALLY appreciate that you tell us how much of what kind of fabric we would need - so we can check easily with our stash!
You are so welcome - glad it was helpful!

Ah thank you, I’ll try to be a bit more consistent this year 🤗

Thanks so much Sam. I colour blocked the Billy wearable blanket last winter, and have worn it camping with great success at keeping warm.
Sounds great Jenni - a great scrapbusting idea!
Love the short coat, the gilet and the scarf at the end, all new to me. Thanks for the ideas
Glad you found something new Sarah!
My favorite is the short coat, I just love it ❤❤❤❤❤
It’s lovely isn’t it 👍
I think my husband would love the wearable blanket - we have been having unseasonably cold weather this winter.
He may never move form the sofa if you make him that 🤣
I hadn't heard about Unfettered Patterns before. They're wonderful! So many will be great for my daughters.
Glad you like them!

Perfect timing for this vlog. Our predicted temps are dropping to -15 C this coming week. I love winter but this will be crazy cold for Pennsylvania.

I never think of Texas having snow! Glad you found the suggestions useful. Stay warm 🤗
Unfortunately, the Annie cardigan is not free. It must have been a short term offer.
