It’s crazy to think she isn’t a love interest when Cloud and her are actually the ones canonically dating in the game. She’s the default route since ‘97. You can tell by her scenes alone how much care and effort the developers put into them lol

There's always been proof, Definitively speaking Cloud ends up with whoever the player decideds
I think this scene is made more painful that Cloud doesn't wholly get what Aerith is doing until the return trip to the Forgotten Capital. Even here, you get that sense of "huh, wha" on Cloud's face.
Seeing Sephiroth come into the church like that will never not be creepy. Especially since we all know what happens...

What is with the lighting?
check the bottom right. To make each scene look as good as possible, every time the camera changes and focuses on a character, the lightning will adjust to that person. I'm no gamedev, but I'm sure they have to do that manually every time, which I really appreciate. Just shows you how much effort they put into the scenes

If SE change remake so much, they should give us a good happy ending with Aerith and zack and all party members are still alive in part 3
I agree, but Aerith is the only Party Member that died, Avalanche's Jessie, Biggs, and Wedge were not party members in OG or The Remake Trilogy
@@Joker3180Z Apparently Zack is still alive according to the Rebirth Material Ultimania and Nomura said if a person dies in one world they can be alive in another. Aerith didn’t even get her ultimate weapon yet like she did before her death in the OG. Now the question is whether Zack or Aerith for example can exist in the main world with the rest of the party or not, hopefully so, but Kitase did say he was very happy with the ending recently because the scenario for pt 3 is done and he was the only guy that really vouched for everyone getting a happy ending 🤞
Ofc they'll both have their happy ending. Cloud will reunite with Aerith, Zack will reunite with his parents and Cissnei 😊
