I really like your videos. Doing exactly what I'm looking to do. Truck camper and utv traveling/overlanding. You're doing a great job too! Can't wait for the next video!
It's crazy watching that Rubicon, I need front and rear lockers. It's cool how everyone works together. It has to be nice knowing you got some help when SHTF.
It’s kind of an unwritten code when you’re wheeling: even if we don’t ride the same rigs, in the end most everyone puts aside their prejudices if something goes wrong. The off-roading community is awesome and I’m glad I got to experience it!
Yet another beautiful location you have brought us to Vic I love Colorful Colorado and miss it everyday day (lived in Steamboat Springs as a ski bum for 13 years) and can’t wait to one day return. Until then, I shall live vicariously through you and other YTers I don’t think there is enough 🧻 🧻 in the world for me to drive on some of those trails!!!
I passed right by that area yesterday. Really wanted to swing in and hang out for a few days but I’ve decided it’s time to get back to work. Definitely want to snowmobile in rabbit ears area this winter. It looks amazing there!
@@downbytheriver501 sledding on Rabbit Ears is awesome. However the powder is deeper and fluffier on Buffalo Pass aka Buff Pass. Need to watch out on Buff Pass though, some of it is permitted to Steamboat Powder Cats for snowcat skiing.
Thanks for taking me wheelin’. That’s one thing I’d probably never do as a solo traveler. Colorado real is pretty special as is Wyoming. Happy and safe travels!
Bill! You can always join up with the OHV groups in the area. Ouray has a rental company where I’m sure they’ll give tours as well. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to see these breathtaking views for yourself buddy! I’m also a solo traveler (obviously) and the best part about doing so is the amazing people you get to meet along the way!
Check it out for sure! You can do dispersed camping in ironton, and use that as a central point for hundreds of incredible miles of trails. Just make sure to get your colorado OHV permit. Otherwise it’s a 300$ fine. Wish I could’ve done black bear pass but telluride, Ouray, and silverton have a bunch of rich snooty folks that recently passed laws not allowing UTVs/SXS in their town so it’s impossible to do loops into those towns.
That's an awesome area I've been there before but need to go back and ride the last dollar road. Big horns are calling first. Couple more giant walleyes for the freezer gotta take advantage of boating season. Damn those mountains always make me jealous. Thank God for the rock sliders on that can am. Sweet stuff man, keep it rocking!
Hey Vic Thanks again for sharing your adventures. It's so awesome to see that part of our Great Country from the back Country trails. Big Shout-out from Western Pennsylvania !
was watching some of your older videos and was wondering what suspension mods you have on the truck? your sway seems to be pretty minimal on those rough roads.
Hi Vic hope all is well with you. Are you still doing TH-cam videos ? Always enjoyed you sharing your adventures. Take Care and Best of Luck in these crazy times.
Hey there. Yes I am I just decided to take a break. Got kinda burnt out from documenting myself so much and also am currently leading a crew on a significant sized contract so I don’t really have much time for editing/video production. But hang in there, I’ll drop one eventually! Cheers.
I’d prefer to just have her ride in the back without the kennel…but her privileges have been revoked after turning my nice leather interior into a chew toy.

@@downbytheriver501 Well that’s a possibility. I’ll have a look when I get there. Thanks!
Incredible views!
You should sell tee shirts with the phrase, “Colorado, the land where beer flows like wine.” 👍✌️
U know the reference right? 😆
@@downbytheriver501 gotta love good ole Lloyd 😄

Fun trails! Beautiful time in Colorado in this vid! ❤️❤️
I'm glad you went and got to do some exploring in Colorado! It's always great!
Sure was! I particularly enjoyed hanging with hundreds of folks in the off-road community
Good to see you and Chris having fun rocking the 6x6. I look forward to part two. :) - Ryan
Thanks buddy! I have been very busy so unfortunately my drop times have been sporadic.
That's a beautiful area. I didn't have an off-road vehicle when I lived there so I only got out on the easy roads.
I saw folks with Subarus accessing alpine loop! I’m pretty sure a Honda Accord has what is necessary to rally that part 😆 😉

Thanks! Yeah the sliders and skid plate was a very worthwhile investment, especially over the last month and a half!

Thanks! I’ve been to Pennsylvania but never got to explore it. I’m sure it’s beautiful!
Poughkeepsie, NY, The Queen City.
That has to be what Heaven looks like.
Indeed! Such a beautiful area

Almost completely stock. not even a rear sway bar installed. only thing I've done is install some of those forklift stable loads!

Do you find better traveling with your dog in the kennel by the seat for safety
