Redo this but it has to be a O to D transition, something more strict.
So, basically, OL → DL, HB → LB, TE → S, WR → CB, or something similar.
Since this is so strict, you can draft a QB.
But have it where you can only get a QB in free agency.

It would be fun to do a rebuild of recent one-game wonder guys. Guys like Nick Mullens, Malcolm Koonce, and Tutu Atwell who had one big game before going falling off or going back on the bench.
Day 32 of commenting this rebuild idea: make an expansion team (relocation) and follow these rules. You can take 1 player from each team but the teams get to protect their starter roster. This roster would be qb1, rb1/2, wr1/2/3, te1/2, each starter on the oline, le1, re1, dt1/2, lolb1, rolb1, mlb1/2, cb1/2/3, ss1, fs1, k1, and p1. Rookies are also auto protected so you can’t take them if they are available. You'll then have a 32 man roster that you can fill by signing free agents. But your team is a new team on a low budget so you can only sign free agents to 1 year deals starting preseason week 1. However you resign whichever players you want for however long you want. You can also make whatever trades you want. For the draft you let the cpu pick to spice things up. You end the vid once you win a super bowl.

You should do a rebuild where it’s out of position, but you have to move players from offense to defense and players from defense to offense
You should do a rebuild where every player has to be a scheme fit. Either start with a team that’s most of the way there or fantasy draft

Draft normally, then you can only draft offensive players, get defense through free agency, and if you want, special teams through trades
One thing i have learned about franchise mode is that overall doesnt mean much in most cases. Hiring the right coaches and using the right playbooks really make the difference

You should do a fantasy draft of only drafting one position for every round doesn’t matter to me which position you pick.
maybe an out of position fantasy draft where you swap positions based on two wheels with the positions (if you land on kicker with one and runningback on the other, you have to swap the players at those positions)

This isn’t something you can see when you’re drafting, but post draft if you look for receivers that have a coaches wristband and no gloves they have passing stats. I know it’s weird and niche, but I figured you’d want to know. They show up every few drafts

I believe why wide receivers at running backs are so bad is because they have like 94 ovr recieving back but have 50 ovr elusive back which is bad, as well as poor bc vision which matters. I'm obviously not sure but i think this is why
