Jennifer Rush sings an orchestral version of "Si tu eres mi hombre," the Spanish version of "The Power of Love" on the Spanish TV show ,,Día a día." This version was released her 1998 "Clásicos" Album.
La mayor creación de los 80,una de las voces más bellas que han existido,..y ella bellísima, una altura que hasta el día no ha sido superada.
In my opinion, Jennifer Rush is the greatest voice in the music business. Here in the Spanish version of "The Power Of Love", her fantastic, full-bodied and emotional voice is even more touching than in the English version (if that's even possible). Unfortunately, the picture format is not right here and the slim Jenny is "stretched out" (in the original it is a 4:3 picture).

big fan of Celine and only discovered Jennifer because I came across Celine’s cover of POL including Jennifer. I couldn’t believe my ears.
I’m 85 and have heard them all, from Ginger Rogers to Edith Piaf to Vera Lynn. Then Diana Ross, Aretha Franklin, Barbara Streisand, Dusty Springfield, Tammy Wynette, and Bonnie Tyler. Add Gloria Gaynor, Connie Francis, Laura Branigan, Linda Ronstadt, Rita Coolidge, Celine, Mariah, and Whitney and you have the lineup of the greats right up to Adele and Susan Boyle.
But, Jennifer Rush has the all-around best female voice I have ever heard. Her operatic training adds an unmatched vibrato containing depth and texture. And she sings everything: opera, pop, rock, and ballads in English, Spanish, German, and Hungarian.
She also studied piano and violin at Juilliard. She has written or co-written the lyrics and music for many of her songs, done duets with Placido Domingo and Jose Carreras, Elton John, and Brian May-sorry-Sir Brian May, Michael Bolton, and performed live all over the world-but not in America, except in March and April 1986 on the Carson show and the Dick Clark Show; that’s it.
