    The Tardsquad scooter! Lol. That first launch looked like it pulled one of the front wheels. That shows just how much flex the frame is getting. I really loved those high speed laps Lonnie was making at the church. It felt more like watching a race with the turns and all. Man, your filming technique just keeps getting better. Have a great day!

    I personally love go karts that are for paved surfaces, but not actual race karts.
    I had second generation live axle Tiger kart with a variety of engines on it including a 2 stroke Fuji Robin that would start and run in either direction. It was awesome for Rockford style full throttle reverse, flip the switch and crank the wheel and zoom zoom off you go in forward.

    Put the built 420 into a different project and sell off the chassis. Maybe build a new street go-kart from scratch with your awesome pipe bender somewhere down the road.

    Nice bike :-) I've got a white one.... here in the UK the Honda NH125 is called a LEAD (as in lead a horse; not Pb, the heavy metal). It does 55mph (if you wait long enough). Keep the vids coming, they're great entertainment (and sometimes informative too) :-)

    Needs front brakes lowered to the ground and a little wider. It looked like the torque converter drive was not inline with the driven pulley when you got up close.

    I however would LOVE to see a nitrous kit on it. That will change things.

  • @aubin1010
    @aubin1010 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Its because you need to mount it inboard. When under throttle it twists the belt, the clutch is squeezing in while the other is opening out

  • @ProbeGT2
    @ProbeGT2 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    +Red Beard's Garage have you tried to monitor the belt's temperature during operation? It might rips up because it is overheating. If you'd try to put a duct to flow some air to the variator or install a small powerfull 12v fan wired directly to the engine it might save the belt.
    Keep up the great channel, you inspire us all. I order a new Mini xrx-r from gopowersports for my daughter and I can't wait to put my hands of this thing.

    someone please help me understand something
    if the steering doesn't turn (stop to stop) more than 90 degrees, why don't people just use handle bars instead?
    it seems like that would give you more control through better leverage and the grip area would be a great place for brakes and possible throttle. also they're cheaper to make or buy. it seems obvious to me, but i may be missing something.
