The path is fairly choose your own adventure since we go through physical damage + accuracy nodes anyway, I've done variously ground slam, purifying flame, and absolution, with absolution probably being the best. Keep an eye out for any early +1 level gear and once you have a few alts, roll a second character just to Lioneyes watch and have her buy low ilvl wands to alt until you hit the desired + 1 and you can rock with that gear literally til maps although you'll probably id an upgrade.
