Thank you very much . I missed classes when this was being taken and it helped me clear up lot of my doubts. Once again thank you so much for this video.
Wow! God Bless you and Mary protect you! You are such an inspiring teacher. I love how you were so humble and took your time to break things down from base 1 to me. Some people like crash course are just horrible at doing a good job at teaching, to them its a speed competition. You are smart, dedicated, humble and awesome! You explained this concept so good. We are in need of your channel because you are actually explaining the concept behind the calculations. Once students learn the meaning of something its no longer forced learning. Thank Your Sir!
Why does that assumption matter so much? When calculating Kc are we assuming that the concentrations of H and OH- have a negligible increase since [H20] has a negligible decrease?
I'm sorry for answering this 2 years later but I hope this can still help you or anyone else. The reaction H20 - - - - - > H+ + OH- is an endothermic reaction therefore when temperature increases the equilibrium shifts to the right hence the concentration of the products increases. as kw is directly proportional to the concentration of the products it will also increase. So basically although it's a constant it will vary with temperature, an increase in temperature will increase the value of kw and a decrease in temperature will decrease the value of kw. Hope this helps :)
i love you thank you so much i have been struggling so much with this you have no clue how helpless i have felt when it came to this topic
Thanks It cleared all my doubts regarding Kw that how it's a constant!👍
Cool. Although you must love chemistry more than physics now?? Ha ha. Please share, the more people use this channel the better! 😀

No problem at all, pleased you found it helpful.

UR THE GOAT. Literally everyone in my school studying chemistry watches ur videos, u deserve the goat status man
Thanks very much, pleased you find them helpful

I can't believe it can be this good
Thank you so much for your videos!! They are a life saver! X
You're so welcome!
Thank you for the simple explanation
Glad it was helpful!
Wonderfully explained, thank you
No problem
Good job sir 👍👍
amazing content, you teach so well thank you so much !
from Pakistan balochistan amazing and thanks
Siry sir but your resolution is extremely low to a point where im only seeing blur letters
Thanks! i have a question... Is Kw consistent as 10*-14 in 25° only, or will it change by changing the temperature?

Great vid but this really should be in the Equilibria playlist no? it isnt right now
👍 this was helpful!
Hi, I want to ask. Why is PH = - log [H+] and not - log [OH-]
PH =-log [H+] for acids
POH =-log[OH-] for bases
helped a lot - thanks !
+Maddy Wood No problem at all! Please share the vid, the more people it helps the better!
So much better than my teacher 😂
Thanks, very informative and clear. :)
You're welcome!
Why always 10^(-14) at 25?
Thank you :D
