Luckily we already have the challenge with Chung Ha and Hong Joong. They're adorable together, and every time she's talking about him she's bubbling over with enthusiasm, and I adore that for her, for him, and for them. And yes, I know she's going to be on a few shows with this. I'm guessing she won't get Hong Joong there, just because of course our king is booked and busy, but I'm thrilled for her reminding us how great she is. Good to see you!
Coming out of the "I'm Ready" teaser, I wasn't sure how I would feel about "Eenie Meenie" as Chung Ha's title track - it felt...odd. And it IS odd, in all the best ways possible!! It's the sort of seductive beat that draws you in and by the end of the song you're grooving and moving and absolutely approving! This is already one of my favorite title tracks of the year so far! (The full version of "I'm Ready" feels a little undercooked - there's not very much song development beyond what we heard in the teaser - a bit of a shame, but "Eenie Meenie" MORE than makes up for it!)
generally i really have enough of dead drops choruses in kpop, with minimalistic vocals, and no music.......but these beats actually sick! Old hip hop beats froms 90"s!!!
