This is a wonderful tutorial. I put it on slow motion and really get the idea. My wife loves it. Excellent work! I have the brush, it's called Ergo. I think you can get it on Amazon. My wife uses 5" brush, her hair is waist long. This video is one of the best she's seen and she watches hundreds of them. Turning the dryer on and off is irrelevant.
I keep this video on the computer bar up top. This is one of the most helpful, best filmed, most professional blow dry videos out there. Her hair is very much like mine in texture and hers came out just the way I would want mine.
If you pre dry to about 90 percent you won't have to spend so much time with each section. And I was taught that moving the nozzle up and down is bad because when you just blow straight down it's more soothing for the cuticle. I feel like blowing upward causes frizz
How do people ge tthe very ends straight? My hair is curly, and I use the exact technique above, but my ends are always a a bit damper and I can't get them dry so they end up curling while the length is straight :(
I have a couple questions, ok I don't own a round brush all I have is a regular ol brush is that ok? Also can we straighten hair that's dry with a blow dryer?
You can use the brush you mentioned, but you have to work harder. It would be easier when the hair is a little damp and the hydrogen bonds of the hair are ready to take the form you would like to create, when it is dried already, the previously broken hydrogen bonds have already rebounded to the dry shape, perhaps with very warm setting you would achieve straightness, but the hair might get frizzy, you would need a product that would give shine and take care of the frizz.
It may seem small sections take too long but you're getting them DRY so you won't have to go back and wonder which parts are dry. She did a wonderful job. It came out amazing.
pré-secher les cheveux avant, ne pas coller le sèche-cheveux à la brosse : sinon on brûle les cheveuxet ne pas éteindre continuellement le sèche-cheveux !

EXCELLENT! I love this tutorial. The sectioning was great. I believe sectioning is crucial in the end result. Excellent work!

Hey quick tip, it is faster if you leave the dryer on. We don't realize we take up more time by just turning on and off the switch. ;)

You don’t pre dry curly, or wavy hair. It will not get smooth.
Wow! That came out perfect! Great job. Thanks for sharing
Very helpful. Thank you

Love that dryer!
Me too, I went and bought one. It's much lighter than the Salono one. I use it every day.

Ergo, Paul Mitchell BUT I got mine at a salon, not in a drug store or super market. It's a great brush too.
