Automatic beam system doesn´t show up when you´re working in 3D. You have to be working in plan view. Here are conditions to draw automatic beam system - from autodesk page:
    - The one-click beam system can only be added in plan or ceiling view with a horizontal sketch plane. If the view or the default sketch plane is not a level and you click Beam System, you are redirected to the Create Beam System Boundary tab.
    - There must be a closed loop of supporting elements (walls or beams) already drawn, or the program will automatically redirect you to the Create Beam System Boundary tab.

Hi. Use beam system. I have more videos about this on the channel.

Hi, how to clean up all joins between those timber blocks?

Do you mean how to make it look like the timber is joined together with a fixing?

Generally, a detail is drawn to show how the timber joists connect to the ridge. On the detail, you would have them abutted to the ridge and nailed in at an angle. In the 3D model, you can only extend the joists until it touches or goes inside the ridge graphic.

Draw Technic yes, correct. That’s what i mean to ask about :)

Draw Technic ok, so if it is in 3d modeling only allow us to touch the timber joist to the ridge then how about the BQ accuracy for overall project, will it affect to our BQ later?

@@dave77yeo hi, if you're taking quantities from the values set by the model then yes it will affect them. You can download some connections for the structural components as an add on but I will do some research and see how to get them to connect better and will address this very soon.
In office work, structural components join perfectly in the model, so I will see what I can come up with. It's been over a year since I made this video :)

Does anyone have the Glulam Family?

It should already be in your structural framing folder?
