It can be done in less steps,if you have four partision walls,then use dormor tool to cut the roof.

I guess you should join the base of the dormer walls to the bigger roof, before creating the dormer.

Hi. Thanks. In addition to other requests, I ask you to trim the cheeks (Side Walls ) of Dormer below the Main Roof. I will appreciate if you can show how to make a typical British Residential Roof with Timber Rafters etc with the Tiles / Slates.

Just edit the wall boundary in a elevation or section view
