Another Banger, Another Banger from AlarmMuseum.
I think im blessed.
I’m sure I left my wand here it’s gone Holly starts crying
AMAZING
*internal panic intensifies*
Ear protection is no joke.
RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH 🔥🔥
Reminds me of '97
Wow! I guess if you're going to ring in the new year, you might as well ring loudly! :-D
This reminded me of two things I'd seen that may be of interest, even if they're not directly in your wheelhouse:
The channel Technology Connections has a video about a klaxon that you might like, and
I use an alarm clock sold under the name "Screaming Meanie" if I need to be absolutely, positively, 100% certain I'm not going to oversleep. It's not a perfect device: it takes those weird 9-volt batteries, the display isn't great, the setting procedure is ridiculous, and the fit and finish are solidly mediocre. It overcomes all those flaws with one shining virtue: when the alarm fires, it produces *120 dB* of *rich chunky homestyle sonic hatred.* If that doesn't wake you up, the specialist you need is not an audiologist, but a mortician.
If a robber walked (more like broke) in this person’s house and they secretly sounded all of the alarms, then the robber would be so scared and would run away to avoid being caught by the house owner or the cops or something. Idk, but yeah, I guess… I’m glad that that person’s house is very well protected! I just wanted to say that.
0:42 sound like the uk level crossing
Can you do a video of your Zodiac security cqr protecta bellbox
Maybe
I’m not gonna lie I would still think it was hilarious
and when will you make a video presenting this alarm The Chloride Gent Model 1500
Not sure. It’s so loud I’m not sure if I will be.
AlarmMuseum, would you mind telling me the exact differences between latching and non-latching panic buttons? Thanks
A latching button is one that locks into place when pressed. This means you need a key to reset it. A non latching one releases straight after it is pressed.
Thanks! Which would you recommend more?
@@Alarmenthusiast48 I generally prefer latching ones as I like to have a key (although they can get lost).
It doesn’t generally make much of a difference to be honest!!
OK thanks for the replies, and great sound off!
@@Alarmenthusiast48 thanks very much!
Loud as hell.
Is that a chubb sab unit... do thay have 1960s gent bells inside... i found it out on Google... but it was golden... and it was in hong kong
The bell in this one is from 1970.
Oh... I thought the bell was from the 1960s
@@Elliotgh2 they were making them in the 60s, but these ones are from the 70s.
good thing the neighbors were probably drinking
Please could you do a video on the kentec syncro?
Yes I will at some point. I’ve been meaning to film it for ages but I haven’t got round to it as I can’t be bothered. 😂
Do you know if the syncro 6000 supports apollo soteria sounders?
@@Alarmenthusiast48 I have no idea sorry.
cool !
Thanks!!
The neighbors must have the absolute worst time of their life with all of this
Haha it’s only once a year!
Get a yodalarm Y200 PLEASE!
I don’t think there’s such a thing as a Y200.
@alarmmuseum shoot sorry I meant a y03 damn it
@@StaffordRailEnthusiast I have a couple Y03s.
@@alarmmuseum oooohhhh
which of these alarms is the loudest
The Chloride Gent Model 1500 motorised siren. I think it’s rated at about 125dB?
kodak and noisy bells
Is that a chubb howler
No. It’s an older bigger version, marked Chubb Alarms SAB Mod 1/2 inside. Also, the Chubb Howler isn’t an actual box - it may have been a nickname for it, but it’s called the 10270 Timer Sounder made by Racal-Guardall!
Doe's it have the same bell as the howler
@@Elliotgh2 the one you call a howler has a sounder, not a bell.
But you said it was the one sounding at the end so it has a bell inside
@@Elliotgh2 the one here isn’t a ‘howler’.
It’s older and bigger.
That's a long list of the devices you own
I own WAY more than this! I did plan to make a collection video at one point but I think I have too much to film now. I may still try and make that video although I don’t have much free time now.
is this legal
Of course.
I feel sorry for your ears😆
So loud
you should get into Air Raid sirens / Nuclear Air raid sirens
I am interested in them! I own quite a few small ones, 3 medium sized ones and I am trying to obtain a full size Cold War one.
So loud
