@@PureElixir If a company really did the HP universe justice, and they were given proper creative control to expand the universe as needed, they could potentially make a WoW killer. HP is one of the few franchises that I think has the fanbase to pull it off.

I've played a few hours of the game and can say that the spoilers are basically nonexistent in this video, but I do understand you not wanting even gameplay being spoiled. The only thing I wish I had known prior to playing was the gear limit and legendary chests. I'm a hoarder and have basically missed every single legendary chest I have come across because I did not know.
I know the game is a bit old, but would you consider doing a playthrough of Vampyr? You play as a doctor who was turned into a vampire, caught between healing the citizens of London or feeding on them instead.
I second this, I wanna buy that game. I miss the era of a bunch of AA titles, so it's nice when they get made and are good games and concepts. I love the way the game world changes based on whether or not you kill. I'd love to see AA renaissance
Great guide. I'm seeing this after already getting 100% game and challenge completion last week so I feel like it's pretty spot on. Only thing I disagree with is the Glacius spell talent. I got it eventually but any time I tried to use it (mainly to do one of the random combat challenges) it felt very difficult to have enemies close enough for the icy blast to hit anyone mid-combat. A different option I got a lot out of was the Levioso talent which would levitate a group of enemies which was often a nice starter of combat to disable a few enemies all at once. Similar for the accio talent in conjunction with the Incendio talent, which would pull a bunch toward me then blast them all right back with lots of fire. Given that the main standout weakness of many enemies is fire, it's a great combo.
Yes, I am aware that there is a lot of controversy surrounding the game, or rather, the creator of its world and I can completely understand if people decide not to engage with the game or videos about it because of it. I honestly did not believe this needed saying, but I do in no way support the views that have sparked this controversy and do not intend to promote them with this video. Nonetheless, I consider it perfectly legitimate NOT to buy, play or review this game because the creator of its world is a transphobe. At the same time, I also consider it legitimate to separate the art from the artist (especially since in this case, the “artist” did not actually have any input on the game whatsoever, apart from originally imagining the world it takes place in) and to buy, play and review this game based on the hard work of hundreds of people involved in its development process - who have (in my opinion) put together a solid game. Does that mean that I enjoy the fact that this one person earns money with every sale made? Certainly not. Do I think the work of hundreds of people, who have - perhaps almost to a fault - tried their best to create an inclusive, diverse setting within her world should be shunned because of it? Also no, because that would mean that I ascribe more value to the bigoted views of one person than to the decidedly opposing views of so many others that have put together this game. So please, try to remain respectful when you leave comments, whatever your opinions on the game might be. With this comment, I have said all I want to say regarding the situation and will not engage further in this discussion.

I want to add you don't technically have yo start the sidequest for the moth mirrors to open the possibility of them, as long as you know lumos is the key. Lol I kinda figured out the mirror where her quest starts way before she was ever there
One caviot to the "nothing matters on the character creator screen" I've found that choosing NOT to start out with glasses losses you 30 gold when going to sell off your basic gear.

As an actual trans person, I don't understand all the hate in these comments, nor can I imagine it coming from persons who are actually pro trans. I do think it is an issue that needs to be discussed as many of us (trans people) are exposed to violence and threats on a daily basis when we just want to express ourselves as we really feel. However, in my opinion, this complex topic has nothing to do with the game itself and certainly not with Pete. In my Opinion, people who spread hate in these comments are not people who are pro trans, but actively ensure hate instead of education regarding the subject. I've really enjoyed your Mass Effect and Xcom Series in the past and hope you continue to create such a great content for us in the future. Keep it up Pete!

Hey! I’m old and extremely new to gaming, and I’ve tried like seven other games in the last month and a half, and simply cannot figure out what exactly tf the game is expecting me to do. Could you possibly tell me about Rimworld and if it is open to brand new/inexperienced players? (basically, just not anything AC) I like…well, fuck. I need help. A lot. The people I know and love and trust in my life have recommended the WORST stuff (Confirming that they never actually listen to me), and I just want to find another game that I can figure out, and that my ADHD allows me to focus on (so just forget anything that’s not aesthetically pleasing). I really like the format of this video vs the “top 10” ones you mentioned However it’s kind of a catch 22 because you can’t make this kind of idea without spoilers even though I know you tried your best to avoid them. I am watching just up to the point that I’m at and there is a lot of stuff I should have done different but I’m still learning stuff that I can implement going forward
yes... it is quite an expensive game. One way that is nice is if you are capable of sharing it with some other family member through family share on steam. This way if you can't wait, you cant at least reduce de cost by sharing the price and the game through this mean.

Well this was an unexpected but welcome surprise! It’s nice to have this ready in advance for whenever the game ends up tempting me during a steam sale. This guide is thoughtful and helpful towards completionists without being too overbearing, and honestly I’d be delighted if you did other content like this for other games that spark your interest. Long form content is fun and all, but a little variety never hurts. Also, just to help drown out any algorithm outrage randos: I think your stance and statement on the matter of the controversy around this game is wise, kind, and smart, and neatly wraps everything up so that elaboration isn’t necessary. I’m sorry that anyone is writing comments spewing hatred without focusing on being constructive towards the issues plaguing trans people every day. I think you did a great job at teasing the game for those, who have yet to experience it aswell as guiding through the first season. Even though i personally prefer walkthroughs, i also enjoyed this format very much. I do think, though, that this game was not the right one for a guide: The game itself is great imho because of all the love and lore that has been put into the stunning world of hogwarts and its surroundings by the gamedevelopers. the gameplay by itself is pretty easy aswell as very forgiving, most choices are barely relevant in the end, which makes a guide not to be necessary imho. E contrario, i think all the collectables and the beautiful worldbuilding to lull at as a viewer would make for a perfect completionist walkthrough. But nevertheless i very much enjoyed the video and am very grateful for all the work that you put into it.

But I really want to tell you from the bottom of my heart: your content matters not because you are a great gamer (witch you are) or because you play the Game I am playing at the moment (rimworld was the reason I found your Channel), but because there is so much love and honesty in you videos! This is the best early game walk thru for this game, hands down. No spoilers, super helpful without being condescending or long winded, everything I was looking for. I realize I’m super late to the party but I just recently started playing through this. I preordered it for PC but only got a few hours in and never went back and then bought it again on Switch when I realized I still do love gaming I’m just too tired to play at a desk at the end of the day, I gotta play in bed or on the couch lol. It’s not even half bad on switch, not even enough to make get up off the couch and play on PC lol I appreciate the time and work I’m sure this video took, and for how well you explained everything while being entertaining. Always a pleasure to see one of your videos pop up. My personal preference is for the usual kind of playthroughs on your roster, especially for story-driven (ME), or story-creating (Sims, Rimworld) games. But variety is the spice of life, in games as well as other matters.

Hey! I’m old and extremely new to gaming, and I’ve tried like seven other games in the last month and a half, and simply cannot figure out what exactly tf the game is expecting me to do. Could you possibly tell me about Rimworld and if it is open to brand new/inexperienced players? (basically, just not anything AC) I like…well, fuck. I need help. A lot. The people I know and love and trust in my life have recommended the WORST stuff (Confirming that they never actually listen to me), and I just want to find another game that I can figure out, and that my ADHD allows me to focus on (so just forget anything that’s not aesthetically pleasing). Any recommendations? Nothing post-apocalyptic or in space, pleeeaasssee.

yes... it is quite an expensive game. One way that is nice is if you are capable of sharing it with some other family member through family share on steam. This way if you can't wait, you cant at least reduce de cost by sharing the price and the game through this mean.

Well this was an unexpected but welcome surprise! It’s nice to have this ready in advance for whenever the game ends up tempting me during a steam sale. This guide is thoughtful and helpful towards completionists without being too overbearing, and honestly I’d be delighted if you did other content like this for other games that spark your interest. Long form content is fun and all, but a little variety never hurts.
Also, just to help drown out any algorithm outrage randos: I think your stance and statement on the matter of the controversy around this game is wise, kind, and smart, and neatly wraps everything up so that elaboration isn’t necessary. I’m sorry that anyone is writing comments spewing hatred without focusing on being constructive towards the issues plaguing trans people every day.
FYI: donating to trans charities and pestering your government representatives to acknowledge and protect their rights as human beings will do a hell of a lot more than attacking some guy on the internet making youtube videos about a video game. I think you did a great job at teasing the game for those, who have yet to experience it aswell as guiding through the first season. Even though i personally prefer walkthroughs, i also enjoyed this format very much.
I do think, though, that this game was not the right one for a guide: The game itself is great imho because of all the love and lore that has been put into the stunning world of hogwarts and its surroundings by the gamedevelopers.
the gameplay by itself is pretty easy aswell as very forgiving, most choices are barely relevant in the end, which makes a guide not to be necessary imho.
E contrario, i think all the collectables and the beautiful worldbuilding to lull at as a viewer would make for a perfect completionist walkthrough.
But nevertheless i very much enjoyed the video and am very grateful for all the work that you put into it.

But I can emagine that these discussions that you can find under most Hogwarts Legacy videos can ruin all the fun for a content creator! But I really want to tell you from the bottom of my heart: your content matters not because you are a great gamer (witch you are) or because you play the Game I am playing at the moment (rimworld was the reason I found your Channel), but because there is so much love and honesty in you videos! I Never felt clickbated by any of your Videos, your videos never felt rushed or half assed and, most importently, you always where honest about you mental health, whitch helped me immensly to handle my own depressions! This is the best early game walk thru for this game, hands down. No spoilers, super helpful without being condescending or long winded, everything I was looking for. I realize I’m super late to the party but I just recently started playing through this. I preordered it for PC but only got a few hours in and never went back and then bought it again on Switch when I realized I still do love gaming I’m just too tired to play at a desk at the end of the day, I gotta play in bed or on the couch lol. It’s not even half bad on switch, not even enough to make get up off the couch and play on PC lol I appreciate the time and work I’m sure this video took, and for how well you explained everything while being entertaining. Always a pleasure to see one of your videos pop up. My personal preference is for the usual kind of playthroughs on your roster, especially for story-driven (ME), or story-creating (Sims, Rimworld) games. But variety is the spice of life, in games as well as other matters.
