An update for you(I’m Portuguese) the press here is saying that Santos will play a 4-4-2 now(more of a 4-1-3-2) with William in front of defence, who is having a great season at Betis. Bernardo Silva will be in the middle as a n10, with Mourinho and Bruno. Upfront is Jota(runs more than Felix) and Ronaldo. Fonte and Danilo as centre backs, Dalot and Mendes in the right/left respectively.

I predict that the results will come from extra time, so full time Italy 0-0 Macedonia, and with ET 1-0, and Portugal 1-1 Turkey, and later 2-1 at ET.

If Italy and Portugal had topped their groups, then they wouldn't have risked playing against each other. Fifa doesn't take into account the Fifa Rankings DURING the qualification. If that's the case then let all teams in the world ranked 1-32 play in the world cup without a qualification tournament.
