MaruKame means “RoundTurtle” very huge chain in Japan, It’s funny that you say the noodles are better in Hawaii, because even though they make the noddles in house, it comes in a pre packed flour mix with everything included, temperature of the water they add even are all the same in all the shops, so I’m thinking it might be the heat in Hawaii that makes it more chewy.

My hometown!! My favorites from Taniokas: Spicy ahi tempura powl with sushi rice, The salmon patties and ahi patties are also delicious, and if its there we also get the ahi rolls! The 7-11 next door also has a spam katsu musubi that is one of my favorites!!
If you guys ever go back to Hawaii (Marugame) or LA (Marukame) you can ask for extra toppings on all of the bowls for no extra cost. If a bowl doesn't have an egg I'll always ask for one when they give you the bowl. Sometimes I also ask for extra green onions and extra beef.

Yum.. That is a good udon place.. Right next to it, they have a matcha ice cream place.. Across the street at the top level, there is a Japanese supermarket, you can get some good sushi bowls and stuff there. Great place within walking distance.

Seeing you guys freak out in Walmart was awesome. For those of us who live in the US and HAVE to go to Walmart when your local grocery store is closed.. It's absolute hell. Most of us hate it. I know I do. Cause there's never more than three lanes open. You get stuck walking behind the SLOWEST people... AND all the slow people always use self-checkout with buggies filled till they're almost overflowing. Five Guys is right outside of my local Walmart, too, though... It kills me walking by it all every time. Cause Five Guys isn't exactly cheap. But let me tell you, get jalapeños on your burger if you like spicy stuff. Their jalapeños are OFF THE CHAIN. They are so hot you'll be shell-shocked. So good though.
