    Great film and a wise decision made. It is always better to understand your limitations and consider the options with a clear mind rather than press on because you feel you must. That way, we all hope to survive with a memory and new experience gained ready to move on next time. Any solo adventure can carry serious risk, no matter what the sport, pursuit or activity and as you so rightly said, we do this to enjoy ourselves! Good luck with all your adventures.

      Wise words my man! Absolutely agree on all fronts! I find that when you are out there, you are really connected to your gut, which is guiding you all the time. It's actually a lot easier I find to listen to it in that environment as you are not facing the typical information overload from the internet etc, when sitting at home in front of the computer, you know? Thanks for the super comment, see you on the next adventure mate! Much love, Eze.

    • @EzeAdventurer
      @EzeAdventurer  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey buddy!! thanks for the kind words, I really appreciate that!
      That canoe is a beauty and is stored away. I do intend to use it when getting a hard canoe to a location isn't possible. At the same time, I'd like to preserve it by not using it unnecessarily.
      Eg in low water situations with lots of scrapping etc.
      It's a beauty, but also bear in the mind the setting it up takes up about 1hour 20 mins, and about 15 mins to dismantle it. But it's ideal for getting a canoe into areas which are almost impossible to get one into. hope this helps!

    • @EzeAdventurer
      @EzeAdventurer  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi there friend! Glad you liked it ! The canoe is the Silverbirch Broadland Duralite (15,5ft I think). She's a beauty and pretty much bomb proof. She weighs 34kg so not ideal for portaging, but not an issue in most of England/Scotland routes.

    It’s very dangerous to go on a fast moving river, there’s tons of pressure per second going through and with hidden currents and eddies it’s not worth the risk. If you’re in an inflatable and there are high banks either side any deflation of the kayak can cost you.

    • @EzeAdventurer

      Hey Kayem! Thanks for watching - I hear you! Sometimes it's tempting to do that but the place is so beautiful and I feel it's too fragile to warrant taking a fish, personal choice I guess, but the release part for me is the best bit of it all, it feels amazing to let the fish go... much love and thanks for watching!

    Always avoid rivers in flood flow, not even the most experienced can beat it. It's just too deadly. You fall in there and you'd be lucky to live another 2 minutes.
