by not looking like you're super rich, you're essentially saving money that you can invest with, netting you millions in the long run. so instead of trying to impress others, ACTUALLY impress others by NOT looking like you're rich
Couple of years ago my group of friends were buying his and her rolex's because they say it retains value, but i know deep down inside they are doing it to flex, so i just stick with my g-shock. Almost 2 years later one of them had a big financial emergency and had to let it go, guess what? They cannot even get 60% of the amount they pay for it. I know its kinda lonely to have a mindset like this thats why im here but i rather be alone and financially free than sociable but broke because I know when financial turmoil comes ,most of the time your on your own.
if you lay down all the stats, you really do lose money on expensive things, money that you will NEVER have back but if you invest it start a company with it, you will eventualy get your money back, and this is why your money is yours, yeah go spend it all but if you do that you will lose money.
my parents bought a hot tub, i was like 9-10 at the time and i thought it was super cool, like yeah some luxury items are nice in middle class and all that stuff, but after watching this video it seems like pointless to sit around in a big hot bath
1:55 But in my country, cars actually increase in value when you buy them, so it's an investment. (For example, my dad drives a 2011 Toyota Prius(About 5M LKR(U$D 17090.92) in 2011) and it's now worth 8M LKR(U$D 27345.47))
It’s also beneficial because that way your friends and family won’t be asking you to lend them money and hate you if you don’t do it because you buy nice things for yourself
My mom is very good with Money And finance I know much tings about money And I read a lot of books And I am now writhing a book that is making me the youngest writher of netherlands ,belgium And armenia ( I live in belgium And I am from armenia) And you are best youtuber ever for money and kids ( I am 10)
The hardest thing about this is you often compromise socially. I save 70% of my net income, but I often look like a homeless person because I feel clothes are a waste when my old ones still cover my body. That makes it really hard to attract a woman. So sure, I’ll probably be a millionaire by 40, but I’ll also be lonely the entire time.
Hey, Im 11 and wanting to be financially free when I grow up, my dad introduced me to the stock market when I was 7-8, he bought me 5 apple shares, ever since I have been investing more and more, I turned 1K into 4.2k and I am now investing into stocks like CEG, AAPL, MPWR, PLTR, and NVDA, I was wondering, what stocks do you suggest for a 7 year long term? I want it to be focused on high earnings btw.
I agree about everything you just said but I’m a little stumped about the clothes thing. I genuinely like classic menswear and wearing suits and leather shoes but it’s not cheap to buy these quality clothes. They do last for a lifetime tho. What’s your thoughts about this?
@@brandong298 yup but classic menswear clothes that are quality and last long usually/always are a little expensive. But in the long run the the cost to wear ratio will make it very cheap
I mean, at the end of the day you can buy what you want, but just realize that every dollar you spend is one that isn't being invested and working for you.
I’m trying to do it man but I needed this pc but I’m liquidating all my gaming stuff like my gaming laptop, vr, and ps4 plus signed up for a credit card to get 200 cash back sign on bonus and getting 4% back for the pc
bro bro bro. don’t do a cc sign up for 200 bonus. use money to start a side hustle business, start by free education , then execute on your business model. watch Dave Ramsey, Alex Hormozi, The Money Guy, Graham Stephen. research dividend stock, VOO, 60/40 portfolio, IRAs, business expense tax write offs, soloprenuership.
This video is helpful and all but there seems to be a trend of people doing the complete opposite of living lavishly… To me, I will never understand why someone with a $5M net worth would only be driving a $6700 used car they bought from craigslist… You have the money.. it’s okay to spend a little more on a car that has conveniences like apple carplay, rear backup cameras, and airbags😂 Buying a $6700 car from craigslist is not safe nor reliable and seems like they’re just doing that to show a “poor flex.” I know Sean does a lot of traveling which is awesome, but people enjoy life differently. If someone who has the financial means to buy coffee everyday or buy $50 tshirts because that actually brings them joy, let them live their life. Life isn’t about who can wear the cheapest tshirt 😂 Ask people who go through the FAST FIRE method… they spend 10-20 years penny pinching so much that by the time theyre 40 with a fully funded retirement, they still find it difficult to spend any money. Dont be that person.
My normal car is a 2015 Toyota Corolla. It has bluetooth and a rearview camera. It cost me less than $20,000 and is super reliable. I can't imagine spending $50,000 on a vehicle that does the same thing.
Lmao it’s my car and we drove it from the bay to LA and back recently! Worked out fine and feels safe 😄 that purchase helped me become a millionaire back in the day because I wanted to be smart with my finances, and I’m proud of it 😉
Totally agree with living below your means to focus on real wealth. I’ve been doing something similar by diversifying into crypto through My Digital Money. Makes it easy to invest without all the stress of keeping up appearances. Anybody else combining this with traditional investing?

That’s exactly right!
By looking middle class, you get used to having a humble life style, that keeps you from going rich to poor in 1 purchase

This is great information!

You don’t need to like like a homeless. There are cheap decent clothes out there. I have shirts at 3$. ☺️

Question iPhone or Android
@Sean pan
Well if you wanna show off go for an iPhone but an Android can do all the same thing that an iPhone can do.
Better question is MacBook Pro or Dell?
I used to be Android but switched to iPhone in 2018 lol. It's more convenient and apps just seem to "work" better.
