I have been LIVING the Boho style since I first saw it on my very cool babysitter in the early 70’s! The 80’s with the straight leg jeans were so hard for me to find clothes. But I channeled my “inner hippie” lol and found what needed. I can’t tell you how happy I have been the last several years being able to shop my beloved Boho style again with the freshness of today’s fabrics and sexiness. Not to mention I have learned to sew opening an entirely new style for me. I love addition of the desert SW prints on sheer fabric and cowboy boots. It’s a beautiful world!
I'm new here and yet to finish the video. I've just started it and paused to comment when you said that your arm is going to be annoying. I personally love it hehe i love when jewellery makes sounds in videos idk why! And you look gorgeous! I've subscribed ♥️
Thank you, Maria, that was so much fun! I'm going to watch that again. Can you please make a 'Buy me a Coffee' account and share the link under your videos, I would love to buy you a coffee (or a nice glass of wine!) at least once a month.
Hey, just to let you know the word G**sies is a racial slur. the real word for that group of people is Romani or Roma. They are currently extremely discriminated against in most places they live especially Europe and most people here don't even know it is a racial slur. The word was associated with them because they were thought to be from Egypt, which they are not, they left what is now India 1000 years ago. And the bohemian style is really linked to Romani people and their culture. There is no separating it the word that bohemian comes from is the french La bohème which was used to refer to Roma people (they were thought to arrive to France via Bohemia which is now the west of the Czech republic hence why named after it) but also the typical starving artists in France from what I gather. It is quite interesting and worth learning about.
Thank you for letting me know. I did not realize the g word was offensive. When I lived in Russia as a child we interacted Romani people frequently and in Russian they are called «цыгане» (tzigane) which also came from understanding that they are from Egypt. I knew that they originated from India, I just had a small dive into their history and according to my source Roma came from their Indian caste of artists and magicians which was named “Lom”and with time changed to “Rom”
Another brilliant video. Love how many shots/ examples you include, as always. This is one to save & refer back to!
