I must say, these dresses are very stylish.But, come on, now...What mother of the groom would look or even want to look like this? Too good.Even out doing the bride, her maids, the bride's mum...It would be very bad form.For a mature dignified mother of an adult male to dress like some stage celebrity. As for some of these dresses looking more like wedding dresses or for the bride's, who often dress in pale or even loud other colours than pure white, that is a definite faux pas in Western refined society. Certain colours eg green or white or blush pink, cream, off white, oyster grey etc are simply bad choices for guests or wedding party members to wear, bridesmaids excepted, if the bride has chosen such colours.inappropriate for either of themothers or guests to wear. The styles of these gowns are nice for a ball etc but not for a wedding, really. Too showy. You need to remember this bid day belongs to the bride and groom not others to steal their show.
