Ryan, cool video! You’ve got to get to Colorado man. I grew up skiing at Sunday River in the 80s & 90s. Hiking Bims Wim (now a named run), poaching Spruce Cliffs! Been in CO for 24 yrs now, you’ll always appreciate the hard pack you grew up on.
The more open Oz runs like Eureka and Emerald City look so tame on camera but then I get there in person and it always looks so much scarier. I never know how much trust I should put into the trail grading system because it always seems like there’s so much overlap for what can be considered a single or double black. I think I’d probably feel more comfortable just going for it if I had someone with me, but I pretty much always ride alone so I get anxious about going into woods or unpatrolled sections especially if I can’t see what the trail actually looks like further down. Too many times have I seen a glade and thought“that’s not too steep” and then halfway through there’s an unavoidable cliff drop into a 40° pitch.
Turn-or-Die runs. Love it!
Hell yeah
Nice man! I tend to skip glades when they’re super firm like that. Like the vids
@@jasonfulleradventures Appreciate the watch. I kinda like the fast packed pow in the woods sometimes

I’ve been wanting to get out there to ski some of those Mega couloirs and faces

When was this, I ski every weekend and the glades have been bad coverage mostly every weekend of the year
Back in February.
Who else pulled out the trail map to follow along? 😆 🙋♂️
I love it!
