None of y'all know anything about ducks, the duck is not hurt all of that blood, you're talking about, that is just what attaches the duck to the egg. If the duck ever wants to get out of the egg, it has to take those things off this is not hurting the ducck
@@SSSs-be8ql You are so right. This video is dangerous and irresponsible. There's no indication that the duckling was stuck in the egg which is the only time that assisting the hatch should ever be done, because if it's not done and the duckling has made no progress then it will die if left unassisted. But in this video the duckling had just barely begun to pip (make the first break in the shell) which means it had just started hatching. See all the blood and how the duckling didn't absorb any of the yolk yet? That's because the duckling was nowhere near ready to completely emerge from its egg and it didn't have any time to absorb the yolk and the blood vessels surrounding the egg. He's extremely lucky if the duckling did actually survive beyond this video because in most cases the duckling would just bleed out and die if it was assisted so early on.
This video is downright irresponsible. The ONLY time you're ever suppose to assist in the hatching process is if and only if the baby chick is stuck and there's been no progress made after allowing sufficient time for it to hatch. At that point if no progress has been made and the chick is most definitely stuck then it will die if you don't assist it, but assisting in the hatching process can also kill the chick even if it's done very late to minimize risk. See all that blood? That's because the delicate blood vessels haven't had a chance to close up, you can see that the chick in this video had only just begun to pip which means there's no way it could have been stuck since it just started the early hatching process. This is a very dangerous thing to do and this person might have gotten lucky but you should never assist a hatching chick UNLESS it's definitely stuck and would therefore die if left unassisted.
This makes me uncomfortable watching this, you shouldn't break the shell, the duckling might of not been ready, just remeber it's not your life its the duckling's. It starts when it wants to or doesn't if it doesn't want to. Simple just be patient
I completely agree. The duckling wasn't ready. I have hatched ducks before (and assisted I'm a few hatches when needed.) If there's blood, the duckling isn't ready. And you could still see the yolk sac. This is meant to be fully absorbed by the duckling before it hatches to give it strength. Sadly, it's highly unlikely that this duckling survived.
You probably dont give a shit but if you are bored like me during the covid times you can stream all of the new movies on instaflixxer. Been watching with my brother during the lockdown =)
don't crack the whole egg because the blood vessel is not yet fully developed and that is the reason why ducklings easily die, Let the duck crack her egg because the duckling first strengthens inside the egg within 24 hours, so he needs the time to absorbs the yolk inside.
You know, nothing about ducks, ducks do not always have to hatch on their own ducks sometimes need help hatching, he's not hurting the duck he's hatching it

Baaahahahahhah This duckling totally died. When you can see the yellow like that it’s such a thin stretch membrane that supposed to be inside them it’s very rare that it doesn’t get too dried out before they come into the humidity that is so much lower than what it is when they’re in the egg. Their abdomen starts to close up and squeezes because it thinks it’s supposed to be at a sooner stage where the bird needs to be able to stand up right. Their abdomen is so opened at that point and their muscles are so opened at that point that they can’t even stand up all the way. The substrate that you put them on whether it’s paper towels or shavings, abrades this super thin area. Not even to mention the open area in the very middle where the guy tore the umbilical tube off. You’re never supposed to use your fingers to literally open up and peel back the egg that much. Maybe a tiny little drillbit and make teensy little a little hole to look in to see how the ducklings doing. And also whenever you see them yawning. That’s them needing more time as their body is still absorbing everything into their body. The Janina is directly correlated to them still needing to be inside the egg. Same with the blood usually the body has absorbed all the blood and seeing good fresh white blood that isn’t a lot drier than that on his hand also signifies why the heck to the person keep peeling back
I ask something about this I just got a newborn duck and its already cracked when i open it I see a yellow egg on her private area. Is it normal? or lack of days pa?
Me. I’ve got one hatching now and trying to assist it as it pipped at the wrong end. I made a small hole in the membrane and covered what was visible in Vaseline. As soon as you see blood you should stop and wait. That duckling wasn’t ready. It should be left in half the shell at least so it can finish absorbing the yolk.
That is not good how dare you it’s very dangerous for you to peel it off for them no matter how tempting you need to just watch it help it can injure them in the process!
If anyone would help me that would be nice , my duck had egg but a random chicken out of no where came by and attacked the eggs most died but one egg was broken bec a chicken broke it, so we got the egg and just opened it the duckling was in this EXACT condition and has lived so far and well but I am not sure how it will eat or just live he’s moving a lot, chirping, and doing pretty well but I just am not sure how to take care of it .
