earth charity or nyadran has been passed down from generation to generation in java, this nyadran folk festival is an activity where people make food together and then gather in one location. later after all residents have gathered, usually a prayer will be held together then the dishes that have been served will be distributed to all residents and the community present. generally in each region of Indonesia has its own way and name of mentioning it, but the essence of each event is generally the same, namely praying together for safety
