I have been watching your videos and love the colors and scents as you described them and we definitely don't have such lovely scents here. I tried ordering from fizz fairy but because I live in South Africa the shipping costs was just so extreme that I had to give up on trying them 😢

How do you store your soaps as they're going through the heat phase? I learned to cover them in plastic wrap but the tops always get flattened? Thanks
I really have had a tough time this year with my soap holding a fragrance. Even with Kaolin clay. we moved into a very nice she shed. it's air conditioned but possibly humid. could that be a problem?
Hi Jerika! I have recently graduated from melt and pour to cold process and All 3 of my very first batches came out amazing. My husband refuses to buy soap anymore 😂 but my question, a fragrance oil I got said it behaves well in cold process and wasn’t suppose to accelerate trace or rice. And it did both!!! Can it behave differently according to what oils you use for the soap? Did I do something wrong? It did come out beautifully for the end result. The ricing was easily stick blended out but the trace had already gotten so thick that it was rough to do any pretty swirls 😐😐
What temperature were your oils at when you soaped? Sometimes the temp of your oils and lye can make a big difference between a well behaved fragrance or soap on a stick 🤷🏻♀️ also if you have clay in your soap( kaolin clay, brazilian clay, etc), it can make certain fragrances accelerate much faster!
Exactly what lemon dew said. Try soaping at 100 degrees Fahrenheit or below for both oils and lye solution.
@@JerikaZimmerman both oils and lye were at around 90 degrees 😐
@@ladymsoaps If you don't mind me asking, which oils are you using and what additives? Personally I get more 'workable' time with 2 small changes I made over the last 2 years. First one is mixing my colors ahead of time by combining my mica and a tiny amount of oil in a cup, that way I don't have to mix my actual soap as long which gives me more time for swirls. The 2nd change I made was using the heat transfer method. I place my solid oils in a bowl and add my freshly combined( and very hot) lye directly in the bowl. The heat from the lye melt my solid oils and brings the lye temperature down. Once it's all melted, I add my liquid oils and then start using my stick blender. By then my mixture is roughly at 85 degree, which is typically what I aim for. Hope that helps 💜

I had one fragrance oil that caused my soap to seize in a matter of 5 seconds, no exaggeration! And of course that was when I first started and had no idea that would happen. I panicked lol
I don’t mean to be a pill about this but I don’t see how you got a true testing of these fragrance oils when you pretty much blended once fragrance oil and colorants without rinsing off the previous soap. Seems to me like it was just a mixed blend of everything. Thank you for sharing your results.
I was thinking the same thing and I would not take these results as being accurate. Everything seemed rushed and just a mess.

I don’t think you were being mean. I actually unfollowed this you tuber because she has stated numerous times that if your not a paid subscriber or one of her bubble bbbs she has no time for them and I think she’s mean unfortunately.
I would buy from fizz fairy but they don't have a 1 oz or smaller option as I have been disappointed with some fragrance oils before I always buy a trial size to start with.

What’s the difference between fragrance oil and essential oil?
Essential oils come from plants and freshen w oils are chemical. Fragrance oils are usually more intense the. Subtle essential oils.

So I'm really sad because I watched this video then went to fizz fairy found the fragrances under quench bear and the fragrances u said u loved are not the ones advertised on the fizz fairy website for example the fruit smell u said u didn't like is the one on the website instead of the one u said u loved in the video with patchouli I'm really confused why fizz fairy would be selling the fragrances u said u didn't like.
Be careful with fizz fairy do your research about them.
