There's infatuation, there's obsession, there's psychopathic stalking, and then there's Yoko Ono making an intentional choice of predation as a means of "artistic expression". Although ... credit where credit is due; musically she was a master of screech progressions.
do you know this for a fact, I mean, Yoko's "intentional choice of predation"? Or was it possibly John's pathological relationship to women that opened the door for this behaviour?
you should actually do docs about the beatles solo careers too! not just making of the solo albums but detailed incidents of their lives like the time when paul got arrested in japan
I really appreciate your attempt to reconcile John's abusive personal life and his public/political life. And besides, John's personal struggles being funneled into a message for peace and liberation for all people is far better than the many absolute monsters in entertainment throughout the 20th century.
For those interested, Paul's lyrics for 'Get Back' was inspired by Linda's first husband, Joseph Melville See Jr. who committed suicide 2 years after Linda died. He died in Tucson, Arizona.
Such an amazing video, I’m a Beatles freak and loved every second of it. One tidbit you could’ve added to the ‘You Know My Name (Look Up The Number) sequence is that Brian Jones played the Sax solo on it. Very informative, I learned some new stuff from this so thank you again really brilliant
*This is the truth about Yoko Ono.* Yoko Ono is a powerful witch. She used powerful occult energy, imperceptible to conventional people, to overpower and control John Lennon. The reason why her singing sounds like the wailing of a witch is because she is one. A normal person cannot make this sound, it is impossible. Yoko used to go to witches meetings in New York, driven there by her chauffeur. In Peter Jackson's 'Get Back' she appears to be just quietly sitting in the room, what she is actually doing is training powerful occult energy on John Lennon. A suitably gifted medium, psychic or shaman would be able to perceive this, conventional people would not. The reason why so many dislike her, some intensely, is because they are picking up on what she is. She is very, very with the dark side, or in biblical terms, the satanic side. She set out to destroy The Beatles and John Lennon. She achieved both.
You have a beautiful way of presenting historical facts and weaving in your own opinions of them. 1) I can’t believe Patty was arrested 2) Yoko’s political movie was so harmful and not at all in line with her peace preaching. Its gut wrenching to hear that poor girl was murdered.. 3) the vocals on Oh Darling are perfect in my opinion. 4) “Zapple” is such a funny name. Had a good laugh to myself when I heard that! Keep up the good work! I can’t wait for the next upload.
The Beatles were already talking about breaking up BEFORE Allen Klein came along. The real date that began the end of the Beatles was Nov 7 1966. The day John met the succubus. You said John met Allen Klein alone. NO! He met Klein with the succubus. It was Klein ls promise to promote her career that convinced John to sign with him despite Paul’s objections.
Long story short. Micheal Jackson got all the copyrights of Beatles songs, now Michaels three kids have split avt royalties, so it's ironic that's probably the most income they get considering they each are worth hundreds of millions
Weird you showed chose Clapton who also spoke about his regret for his past and has lived a life of redeeming any past. Bad choice. Like John with Peace Clapton has done incredible work in helping people get sober from drugs and alcohol. In fact I went to crossroads center and got to meet him and am thankful to be over ten years clean from heroin much thanks to him. Great video nonetheless
@@MakingoftheBeatles it’s all good, I get why it was included as an example even tho it’s now this lazy bandwagon that begets entire discussion around him is one blown almost entirely out of proportion often forgetting the context of a man at the lowest point in his substance abuse speaking some self admitted stuff he doesn’t agree with in a non audio recorded story based solely on recollections. I lived through the whole thing. I am more angry at Yoko and Him both, They just had to self destruct! I still remember when and excatly where I was when I heard "John had been shot"
Gosh, John was a great songwriter and singer, but he had no clue about avantgarde. And that´s why Yoko could make him believe that she was doing just that. In fact it was BS, self-proclaimed BS. And she was great in self-proclaiming. I wonder why Paul couldn´t tell him, cause Paul was interested in avantgarde.
i once read a british joke that was a shaggy dog story that led to a man breaking a window on accident or something, and he's in a hurry so he has to leave, but the owner of the flower vase or whatever, who is a complete stranger that just pops up after his food is ruined or whatever, asks for compensation, so the man promises to pay for it later, to just call him... you know where this is going - did i read a joke written after the song, or was the song named after the punchline of the joke? anyway the song "you know my name (look up the number)" sounds like AI, which is impressive in its own right, but still, worst beatle song ever.
19:43 I see no hypocrisies here, he clearly showed signs of growth and change. These so called hypocrisies are usually used as a distraction tool by the wrongdoers themselves to change the conversation from progress
None of them were particularly good people. George cheated on his wife several times and would do it with his friends' wives like Ringo and Eric Clapton (in fact he slept with Clapton's wife WHILE TOURING WITH HIM). Ringo beat his wife and was largely an absent father whilst his kids were growing up. Paul cheated constantly on Jane. They're not good or bad, they're just people. They make mistakes.
John is the only guy who would admit to domestic violence, when in fact it was one incident, and so slight, that Cynthia called it one slap - followed by a day of crying and handwringing (by John). I am not saying that slapping in a rage is good. It definitely is not. It can cause serious injury. But sheesh, attention seeking or what?!
The timeline helps me understand how fast their pace of life was- everything was fast. There was no break for them. Woe! George quotes Jesus before gets arrested! Interesting! And last thought: Isn’t it a pity that they didn’t professionalize their relationships? There was a chance. They almost saw the light during the filming of the let it be album. That was talk about setting it up so that they could go out and record their own stuff and then eventually come back and be a group together again . Wouldn’t that be awesome? They would go out and spend half a year doing their own thing and then at the end of the year come in and record an album: four songs for each guy. Wow, it’s just a dream right?
Love John the musician, never liked him as human being from the moment I started understanding English and since he's no longer with us, I'll stop here.
@VerminSupremeFanPage you are beyond silly. Please cite one thing Yoko Ono has done which has at least one or two of the characteristics we expect of art: creativity instead of pretension; beauty or at least proportion instead of ugliness and lack of resolution; enrichment instead of deracination of the soul. C'mon, Vermin Supreme, I'll be waiting.
@@bobtaylor170 you're letting your personal biases against Ono's art cloud your judgement of her significance to art. Whether you like her art or not, I could care less, but to say she is the least essential artist of the century is blatantly wrong.

Yoko knocked on Paul's door first, he turned her away. This was when she still didn't know who the Beatles were mind you. 🙄

The Beatles ended when 3 of the Beatles no longer wanted to play with Paul.

Maxwells Silver Hammer spoilt an incredible album.....
"Semolina pilchard". A pilchard is a type of sardine, just abstract poetry by John. The cop's name is a coincidence.
Truly amazing work!
I had the album before the cosmetic surgery, hormones and name change. It was released by Walter Carlos.
A welldone film!👍
