Anyone remembers the incident circa 2008 or 2009 where Josh Brolin beat the h3ll out of his then wife Diane Lane who made a police report and Josh then publicly apologised? They split up eventually.
I will say I did love the intensity of the cops racing to intercept the car. The engines roaring, the music, everything, for me, had the adrenaline pumping. While I will say that looking back, this movie was and still is cheesy (with someone saying that the final chase with the remaining cops trying to trap the car had a night filter on the camera) but it has a unique charm to it.

They need to make a remake of this movie. Only this time with a background story of how the possessed vehicle came to be and more badass cops chasing it thinking there is a serial killer driving the vehicle the whole time. It’s one of the few major things that kept bothering me about this film. They never explained its origin or how the vehicle became possessed in the first place.

Yeah. But I believe the book kills the movie. Christine that is. The book is a classic. Love that book. This is a great film too. I love The Car. I don't care much for the movie of Christine though......

Never saw this one. Looks like Route 66 around Cool Springs, between Kingman and Oatman. Not much has changed, but the pavement is a little more modern.

I like how it rolled over and the impact from the roof touching the ground made it explode instead of the gas tank.
Sinister, yet cool looking. The sound of the engine and horn. They did a good job of making it menacing.

I've calculated the car scenes using their distances by the amount of time. I estimate each police car was traveling approximately 182 mph.
