How KENTE WEAVING BEGAN. A visit to Bonwire Kente Weaving Center in GHANA 🇬🇭

Bonwire is the home of the famous Akan Kente Cloth.this cloth is worn by many groups in the country.Kente comes from the word Kenten, which means basket in Akan dialect Asante. Akans refer to Kente as nwentoma, meaning woven cloth.this video shows a brief history of how kente was brought to life.
