Different protest types can have different goals. If you ask people who participate in stopping traffic, they know people aren’t going to like them. They do it for the attention it brings to their cause, and to give people a slight idea of an inconvenience in their life compared to the experience of the people they are protesting for. Hey Chris. I appreciate your input on the situation in Gaza. I appreciate you calling it a genocide. So if you want a quick rundown of the events that’s pretty historically accurate, I recommend looking into Noam Chomsky. But just a few things I wanted to tell you as someone who’s researched the conflict. For one, I don’t really think Hamas started it per say, they did launch an attack on Israelis October 7th, but a) the Israeli government has admitted it knew about the attack already and b) people in Gaza were generally living in what was called(by amnesty international) an open air prison, something like 95% of the water was undrinkable, half the population is under 18, most of them are starving too. And generally it was a horrible situation. So nothing about what Hamas did is necessarily justified by this, but I can understand why they might’ve lashed out rather foolishly. But this issue is almost a century in the making, and, well, basically, after ww2 where many Jewish refugees were created, the western powers chose to support the ideology called “Zionism”, founded by a guy named Theodore Herzl. This movement was more of a fringe movement than representative of Jewish people, because it advocated for the creation of a majority (ethnically) Jewish state, in what land is ancestrally Jewish. And that is basically saying, Jewish people should have an ethnostate acquired via settler colonialism. Where America and the west more broadly comes in, is that they basically unequivocally back Israel for the power it allots them in the region. Anyways, the project of israel basically started by removing Palestinians from their homes and moving Zionist settlers into the spaces they used to occupy, while taking structural power from the already poorer country with western backing. The best example of this is the 1948 Nakba, as well as other ethnic cleansing campaigns in Israel’s history. Additionally worth noting, Hamas, a militant group basing its resistance off Islamic principles, was originally funded by the Israeli state as an opposition to the secular resistance movements(like the PLO). So the conflict really did not begin with Hamas, it’s been ongoing since the 40s at least. I think it's kinda cool you're able to talk about politics and other stuff that might stir up controversy. Me personally, I don't really care about politics because I am like where I know I am going to go against someone's opinion.
Random internet dweller's 2 cents: Hamas is far from ideal, which is sad because it's Gaza's only real form of retaliation against assault that has left over ~34,500 people dead as of this comment's writing and a major amount of Gaza totally destroyed with presumably hundreds of thousands of injured and otherwise suffering people [I want to bring the fact Hamas is not tantamount to all of Gaza to the forefront for this one by the way]. Protesters are unfortunately probably going to protest in whichever way they want to regardless of if they disturb someone or not. However there's a lot of people with 'out of sight, out of mind, I stand for nothing except I think that what inconveniences me shouldn't be there' mentalities which is what partially owes to counterprotests. I don't really want to change people's minds so I won't go further on this. With all that said, a Chris video is a Chris video, so that at least is nice.
Personally I don't look at or pay attention to the news. I go about my day to day life pretty much in a bubble to be honest. And I'm happy with that decision so far.
Hey sjb, i play this game kinda rare nowadays but i still like to watch some of your videos from time to time and this kind of commentaries are the best, dont be afraid to express your opinions on things like this, if someone decides to unsubscribe or smth because of commentary like this your probably better off such audience. I would even encourage to form stronger opinions on whatever side you choose to take and have spicier discussions :)).
This got Deep Bro, but I think you are right. This is a sticky situation, but if you are going to complain, don't piss people off that you need on your side. Sorry to all those who lost out on graduation ceremonies because of hostile protests.
I feel like you really weren't all that controversial in this video, everything you said had both merit and heart to it. I respect you so much for taking the chance on putting your opinion out there on this, it is most certainly a dangerous thing to do especially considering your career could crumble over it which is unfortunate. but overall it's a great video and we love you ❤
SJB, i really hope you read this. i thank you for welcoming opinions. the notion that Hamas “started” it is reductive - yes, violence is violence, aggression is aggression and war of any kind is terrible, and one could call them extremists. people don’t question WHY hamas is doing what they’re doing. because it hasn’t just been this year, or the last year, of this issue starting. the israel-palestine conflict has been around since the 1918s, when the British took control of Palestinian territory for Israel settlers. What happened throughout the history was Israel arming themselves and essentially kicking Palestinians out of their own settlement. by 1948, Israel’s military forces displaced 750 thousand Palestinians and took over 78 percent of Palestine. by 1967, 300 thousand more were displaced. it has been YEARS and DECADES of this treatment, of violence and ethnic cleansing and displacement. October’s Hamas’ attack was NOT unprovoked, and while i am never one for war and killings of innocents, why have no one made it as pressing of an issue as it is now when Palestinians have been undergoing it for so long? also i cannot agree that you can’t “figure out” who’s the lesser evil / less wrong (in your words), because if you were to see news, it’s Israel bombing hospitals, it’s a genocide and murder of children and innocent, injured people. it’s Israel promising a ceasefire and breaking it by murdering people who went to get food supplies. it’s Israel attacking Rafah after they specifically promised safety there, before announcing they were mass-bombing that region, essentially confining Palestinian INNOCENTS there. not even the Hamas extremists, it’s CITIZENS being told to evacuate there and then being murdered. just bring up the amount of Palestinians being murdered each day from last year to now. it’s an ethnic cleansing, not just “kinda” genocide. if we want to talk about lesser evils, then Israel’s number on Palestine far outweighs Hamas’. they bombed HOSPITALS. l
love the videos but the info on Israel is definitely a bit off, not gonna start a war here because i love the channel just a little triggered on the info being wrong. its great you have a open mind and can talk about almost anything and make it entertaining , but that's a topic worth investigating before speaking on.
I think the biggest issue (both sides do bad) is Hamas has a charter, it's similar to how we have a constitution, and within that they say how they will never believe 1. in a cease fire and 2. Until all the Jews are dead. Israel bombing civilians is horrible and tragic, but how to you have peace with a group that wants you dead no matter what
My strongest combo is Hero: Sauda o quency Magic monkey 0-2-5 Druid 2-5-0 Shredder 2-5-0 Practilly I can spot camouflage bloons with the magic monkey, druid and Shredder destroy everything
oh cool, i wanted to relax listening to btd6 content and completely out of nowhere i have to listen to some dude sympathizing with ch1ld murderers and acting like both sides are bad.
my only thing i wanna say is hamas definitely did not start this conflict, Israel had thousands of palestinians held hostage in their prisons for wanting the apartheid to end. Nelson Mandela was Pro Palestine and Pro South Africa it was on the terrorism watchlist in America because he believed there was justification and armed resistance against occupation. summery: this conflict started long ago and The people who we look to as people who believed in the freedom of man stood for the freedom of Palestine
I’m South African and what you are saying is nonsense, Nelson Mandela stated that he believes in a 2 state solution, and Israel defiantly did not take any Palestinians hostage
Yes. This is an ancient holy war, that will not end, regardless of any agreement. There already WAS a ceasefire, but then Hamas committed a horrid terrorist attack on Israel and broke it. Both sides have done atrocities to each other. Israel is surrounded by nations that have openly stated they have sworn to kill every last Israeli simply because of the Islam vs Judaism religious difference, so I don't blame Israel for being defensive. That doesn't justify their actions, but who are we kidding? This is an ancient blood feud, and nothing new. People only talk about it now because they're gullible, spineless, easily influenced followers who take part in the groupthink.
@@SJB2 I think the take of "it's been going on for a long time" (implying that both sides are equally at fault) is kind of misguided, just because a conflict has been happening for a long time doesn't mean that there is a side clearly more in the wrong. I'm not an expert by any means on this situation but I have picked up more than a few books on the history of the region and the conflict; maybe you'd find one interesting! My reccomendation for a good overview would be "The Hundred Years' War on Palestine" by Rashid Khalidi, it was a book that really opened my eyes to the oppression faced by Palestinians, that continues today with modern apartheid and the recent genocide.
Unfortunately for your point, there is no apartheid in Israel. On the contrary Palestinians are subject to harsh religious law and are not allowed to trade with jews. Jews haven't been a majority in a state for an extremely long span of history so they are relatively secular compared to christian and muslim states which are proselytizing religions
I can’t fully agree with this protest philosophy. Yes you want people observing the protest to side with you, but unless you are *disruptive* in some way, those in power will have no incentive to pay attention. Those in power want you to believe that the best way to protest is by doing nothing to change the status quo. Yes the kind of protest where you just walk around holding signs is useful for gaining attention, but when you have an issue that literally everyone already knows about, but the government still won’t listen to the people on, then you need to make the government feel uncomfortable. You need them to understand that until something changes, they will continue to feel uncomfortable. And no I’m not condoning violence. In the case of traffic, if you’re really worried about it, you can stay up to date on when protests are happening, and just go around it. There probably are more effective methods of protest, I’m not trying to defend traffic stops specifically, but I want to say that if you find yourself mildly inconvenienced by protestors, it is because there is an issue so great that people are willing to put themselves in danger of getting beaten up by cops and face legal trouble in order to pressure the government for change.
I won't disagree with anything you said, but just add on that traffic isn't just a mild inconvenience sometimes it's life or death, protestors block ambulances or fire trucks, people driving to a hospital. They have no idea what the downstream effects are.
@@SJB2 I've been to protests where police beat protestors to points where they need hospitalization, and in those cases they let the ambulances through. I can't speak for other protests though, I suppose it's possible if the protest is done too hastily and they don't have enough organization, things can get too chaotic.
mm i think that the thing with talking about "2 wrongs" is that israel were doing what they are doing now for decades, obviously this time it's the most striking but it's nothing new if you as much as look up the list of israel's list of crimes through the years, i mean its still a complicated situation and normally I would not advocate for specific sides but for this one, at least for me, its kinda evident
Imagine Madison Square Garden. Imagine how big that is. Imagine how long it would take for you to walk from one end of the stadium to the other. Think about how long it could take to walk by all of those thousands of seats. Now imagine every seat in the place is filled. Not a single place to sit. The crazy large crowd in the most famous venue in the world. Now imagine everyone there is dead. Could you imagine the horrible sight? The horror of that scene would turn anyone to a protestor. The reality of the genocide that is Israel is causing is worse than that. It requires almost 2 fully packed Madison Square Gardens to equate to the death tolls in Gaza. 70% of all of those casualties are Women and Children. This is not a 2 sided issue. This is a human's rights issue. There is an evil side, and there is a side that is trying to gasp for air. The United States government have stuck their fingers in their ears in hopes to not hear the desperate gasps for air.
I disagree with your main point. Protesting's goal is not to make the general public support the cause. Protesting for a cause is to collectively bargain to the applicable issue. Specifically, the college protests are for the universitys to DIVEST in pro-war companies. These students tuition goes directly to these companies that manufacture guns and weapons that we sell/gift to israel, through the schools endowment. These students are not protesting for the public opinion, they can do nothing to help where their tuition is being invested on the universities part. Thats why historically, protests would stop traffic/ cause disruption, so the protestors bargaining (typically for governents/laws and not public opinion) is forced to be bargained with, rather then ignored. The protester typically pick one building to camp in front of, they arent gonna disrupt classrooms. I also am not sure if youve just had a bad interaction with protesters that held you up in traffic, but thats not what I think these college protesters have even done
I have no take really but saw another tiktok reporter guys video on it and forgot which state but there was one college that blocked up major highways and was causing people to miss flights from the airport but pretty sure it was just the one. Most people got over it and continued with their lives just catching another flight, then there were others being interviewed on the news were saying they should've just been run over 😒 😑
@@supranova7594Not sure what college would do that. Nearly all of these protests are highly organized through groups like Students for Justice in Palestine and Jewish Voice for Peace and their campus strategies are pretty quickly easy to find on google. Mainly though its to isolate the issue to the campuses as much as possible

I agree with the fact that the way people protests makes them being hated by the average citizen, but for winning a protest you don't have just to be liked, you have to be the better offerer. Let's make an example with made up names and numbers: Frank is the one in charge, with his politicies the average citizen gets 10. Carl is the leader of the protest and he says that people should get 20. Carl protests in the peacefull, legally way. Excluding bad propaganda made by Frank to reduce Carl's reputation, people do like Carl, but noone is really putting effort to put him on charge, why do i say this? By supporting Frank, the people are sure to get that 10, if they support Carl and he loses, they might lose that little they have and so they are scared to support him. The protest is useless. Carl, for taking power, should make people NEED him. How? By blocking the money/good influx towards who support Frank, and so, being the one giving them the most or the only one giving something. He then is the better offerer, and people will support him. if enought people NEEDS him, he'll be enought strong to depose Frank or Force him to do what Carl wants. Moral? If you're legally allowed to protests, it means that it's not a treat to the one in charge. Sorry if i made some grammar mistakes, english is not my native language.

Protesting isn’t about winning, it’s about bringing attention to power imbalances and putting pressure on the powers that exist.
if moab dom 's weakness is bloons, you could just go for the top cross path. I think he is better for the 90s as well because of the grouped moabs
Kudos for using your platform to spread the word of peace and justice.
I think it's kinda cool you're able to talk about politics and other stuff that might stir up controversy. Me personally, I don't really care about politics because I am like where I know I am going to go against someone's opinion.
Thank you Chris
Random internet dweller's 2 cents:
Hamas is far from ideal, which is sad because it's Gaza's only real form of retaliation against assault that has left over ~34,500 people dead as of this comment's writing and a major amount of Gaza totally destroyed with presumably hundreds of thousands of injured and otherwise suffering people [I want to bring the fact Hamas is not tantamount to all of Gaza to the forefront for this one by the way].
Duuude someone finally playing my strat.
So, what to get with that 70K if the map is less advantageaous. Just Upgrade the Boomerangs?
More battles please. Some of my favorite content on TH-cam
Personally I don't look at or pay attention to the news. I go about my day to day life pretty much in a bubble to be honest. And I'm happy with that decision so far.
Would it be possible to beat chimps with only maxing 1 path in monkeys?
The bro had the balls to talk about this, gg 😊
Thanks for calling it a genocide. I don’t agree with everything you said but it’s important to talk about. I’ll be using the creator support code!
I feel like you really weren't all that controversial in this video, everything you said had both merit and heart to it. I respect you so much for taking the chance on putting your opinion out there on this, it is most certainly a dangerous thing to do especially considering your career could crumble over it which is unfortunate.
but overall it's a great video and we love you ❤
Love you SJB ❤
Would throwing an alch on them make them all even stronger?
Came for the Bloons, stayed for Based Chris.

Thank you for your input.
Farmers in France had my back 100%
I like how you think about the protesters i hate them two keep upp with good videos 👍🔥
Hey quick question, how many Palestinians were killed by Israel before October 7, 2023?
Loved the video ❤
Hi chris. Stay safe, storm season is upon us illinoians.
Congrats on 8OOk subs youll reach 1 mil by july
Can u give good strata for expert maps on chimps
carpet of spikes would have probably been the easiest win to get after the money save up
Crossbow master is so satisfying
love the videos but the info on Israel is definitely a bit off, not gonna start a war here because i love the channel just a little triggered on the info being wrong. its great you have a open mind and can talk about almost anything and make it entertaining , but that's a topic worth investigating before speaking on.
How do we stop murder, without murdering?
I understand the concern but please leave all political talk outside of bloons videos.
Arnt there millions of non political bloons videos you can watch.
Let them cook!
I think the biggest issue (both sides do bad) is Hamas has a charter, it's similar to how we have a constitution, and within that they say how they will never believe 1. in a cease fire and 2. Until all the Jews are dead. Israel bombing civilians is horrible and tragic, but how to you have peace with a group that wants you dead no matter what
Gotta' love controversial Chris❤
Hey Chris
Ngl. I just wanna hear about bloons and monkey. Not the atrocities of the real world. 😅
800k baby!!
My strongest combo is
Hero: Sauda o quency
Magic monkey 0-2-5
Druid 2-5-0

Practilly I can spot camouflage bloons with the magic monkey, druid and Shredder destroy everything
You could have gotten moab domination
Why the fuck is there politics in my btd6 video?
oh cool, i wanted to relax listening to btd6 content and completely out of nowhere i have to listen to some dude sympathizing with ch1ld murderers and acting like both sides are bad.
my only thing i wanna say is hamas definitely did not start this conflict, Israel had thousands of palestinians held hostage in their prisons for wanting the apartheid to end.
You're right. It's been going on far longer than the recent past. Neither really started the war....it's just been roaring on in different ways.
This on hard mode?
How did Minecraft not add a Bloons mod yet?
mm i think that the thing with talking about "2 wrongs" is that israel were doing what they are doing now for decades, obviously this time it's the most striking but it's nothing new if you as much as look up the list of israel's list of crimes through the years, i mean its still a complicated situation and normally I would not advocate for specific sides but for this one, at least for me, its kinda evident
I agree, the amount of misinformation putting these protestors in a bad light is crazy.
I have no take really but saw another tiktok reporter guys video on it and forgot which state but there was one college that blocked up major highways and was causing people to miss flights from the airport but pretty sure it was just the one. Most people got over it and continued with their lives just catching another flight, then there were others being interviewed on the news were saying they should've just been run over 😒 😑
Omg thank you finally, this isn’t about public opinion, it’s for the people that can actually make the change😭
Bro literally just protest in a way that doesn't bother innocent people trynna get about their day.
Challenge use your very good tips (bad tips you made) to win hard mode
Day 11! All stun team, Psi/Pat, Moab Dom, Top path cannon, any glue freeze, top path sniper, top path mortar, top path Druid, super monkey w/knockback, ninja with distraction/flashbomb, engineer with pin.
Thank you for bringing awareness to the palestine israel conflict. Bless you.
this strategy is so busted i just got like 9 easy af black borders
800k!!!
TRUE.
I agree with the fact that the way people protests makes them being hated by the average citizen, but for winning a protest you don't have just to be liked, you have to be the better offerer.
Let's make an example with made up names and numbers:
Frank is the one in charge, with his politicies the average citizen gets 10.
There is no legal basis for genocide in Gaza. The only genocide that has taken place here began on October 7. :*
Much respect for using your platform to at least address this subject. Very brave of you
