I love the sheer shower curtain. I think it allows the light to shine through and prevents your bathroom from being so dark AND I think the colors you have are perfect. I don't think you need to change the paint color. If you get throw pillows and decorations, you can add more color there, and if you get bored with those colors, it's easier to change the pillows and decorations than it is to change paint🙂

Three things- 1. The table outside.. use it!! Your brothers could sand it down for you, and you could paint it and paint your extra two chairs from the 9pm marketplace experience to match. Would make a nice patio vibe with a couple of outdoor plants and maybe a patio rug. 2. When you empty your black tank, empty the gray water tank right after to "rinse" the pipes. (I'm an experienced camper). Cuts down on any residual smell or clogs. 3. Take some time to visit some local thrift stores, i.e , Goodwill, St. Vincent dePaul, Salvation Army, etc. These places are awesome sources to save $$ on things like your $75 shower curtain and any type of houseware item, curtains, bath towels, sheets, dishes, etc...anything you can wash. I would not buy anything upholstered, mattresses, or large rugs from a thrift store, but anything else is fair game. I love your progress!! Hey Leah! I live in a camper too and I totally removed that metal shower frame from my shower and now I just use a curtain and rod! I like it a lot better than the sliding doors.
Instead of repainting I would recommend switching the yellow lighting for some brighter and lighter lights and you would be so surprised on how much it would help!
Maybe get an inexpensive plastic liner for the inside of the shower curtain. It will be more water repellant and less sheer. Also, you can get different colors to brighten things up and change it out when you want to. They have them at the dollar store and other places. Love to watch your progress. ❤️

Like everyone else said, get a shower liner for the inside of the shower. They’re cheap. And a mattress pad cover for your bed. Will make your mattress last a lot longer and keep it cleaner. I saw that you put the liner inside the shower, perfect👍🏻. If you feel it’s still to “see through” get a solid white one, that should help. If you want to change up the paint color on your island & entertainment area to a lighter green then I say go for it, it’s your home. If you decide on pillows, get pillow covers that have a zipper closure and plain pillow inserts. That way when you want to change them out you’re just changing the pillow cover & they’re easier to store. And something my single daughter, who lives in her own home does, she buys fresh flowers every week for her home. She says it makes her feel good & her home feel cozy🤗

The shower curtain looks great and very chic without the hefty price tag. I was going to suggest keeping the table and having it sanded down and weather treated for the nights you feel like hanging outside with family or friends.
Suggestion: you can get an e-bike, mount a milk crate in front of the e-bike you can put the groceries and return home. And when you can invest in a washer / dryer of your own inside your RV then you can just do laundry inside anytime. :)

I'm very new to owning a camper but im 22 and one of the things that has really helped lighten up the inside of my camer is having some lighter colored curtains that aren't blackout curtains. People still cant see inside, but they really brighten things up during the day. After dark i really like the use of fairy lights, they are inexpensive and make everything feel more cozy and cute! To help with the sheer look of your shower curtain, can you buy one more the same & hang side by side or hang straight over the existing one? Just one idea while keeping that style you like. I think you're doing a good thing choosing to buy your own home, temporary or not, because it's not dead money thrown away paying rent for someone else's mortgage. Win Win! I have several brands of generators. My latest one is a Bluetti. I hope you have solar panels to recharge you battery. You have plenty of free power supply from the sun. You should be able to charge it as it’s being used to recharge those batteries. The ways to charge it are with a cable plugged into your cigarette lighter or tech device port in a car, then solar panels, and regular power from an AC outlet. The same as with my Anker and Eco Flow generators. The wall area around the tv looks great, but it does add to the room being dimly lit. So a lighter color should brighten up that space. Above that area. You have this long panel over it. You can do one of two things. Put some pictures to add color to the space, but a better option could be to add some small square mirrors all along that panel to reflect the light that’s up there down into the room. It’s easy, light weight and cost effective. Post whatever you that tickles your fancy, because anything you post I find enjoyable to watch a slice of your life. You could easily put solar panels on your patch of grass or on top of your trailer roof. Just not when the weather is turbulent. S check these areas of your car. The alternator, or alternator switch if it has one, the belts in your engine. Since it only occurs when your starting the engine. It could be due to something is going bad with your charging system. Oh, and check all of your car’s fluids. Well less you want buy a new car. Yeah! I think your right. Your brothers seem to have usurped ownership of your golf cart. If they’ve given it a name. You’ll never see it parked by your front door. Had it been painted pink. They would have brought it back to you long along.
I love the colour green you have there! And the rest of the colours are lovely too. I would suggest adding some plants or some type of greenery (real or faux, whatever works in the space) tho and possibly some extra/different lighting so the space looks brighter. Campers have naturally limited light and lower ceilings which makes it looks a bit dark.

OBSERVATION hi leah. Great vids. Your cars cam sensing unit is going bad and not getting oil. Get it fixed immediately. Get a regular fridge as the dometic u have will fail. A fridge is cheap. Please get extra locks and cameras fir your rv and for safety. Good idea brightening your rv. Add some light blues and greys. Diff lighter colors of curtains and pillows will help. Nice vids.

I agree the lighter your walls are in a trailer the more open it looks. Also could think about putting bigger windows in your trailer. (A lot of work but worth it)
Your car needs a timing chain replacement before it’s too late. If you wait any longer you’re going to need a whole engine replacement when that chain breaks.
@@maryc4152 it’ll only do it on start up after the car has been sitting all night typically. Usually means it needs a timing chain or timing chain and cam phasers which are usually all done together anyway.
Put a white shower liner on the same hooks but on the inside of the shower doors and that will help keep any water IN the shower and also make it less shear.
I love your camper! One thing you can look at doing is upgrading to a tiny home. They have some that are all open and bright. And I believe there are tiny home parks too. Best of luck on the water leak. I know you and your brothers will figure it all out!!
I know this was 2 months ago but I would keep and repair the old table, this way you can put all your chairs around it. I like the sheer curtain too by the way.
I think your place is lovely! As many others have mentioned, by adding decorations it’ll add colors and dimension to your space. I think the curtain looks good. I think anything darker would make the bathroom even smaller, if that makes sense. You have a really neat setup and family to help you. I’m jelly in a good way 😊

The gap in your shower door could be where the leaks is. Also the shower curtain should be inside the lip of the shower to keep water in. I learned the hard way.

I think the sheer shower curtain looks good for the bathroom, but what I did in my bathroom is I layered to curtains so I had one draped open and then another shower curtain behind it .

Try using natural daylight led light bulbs. And highly recommend Sherwin Williams Emerald urethane trim paint for your island. Performs like an oil base paint but cleans with soap and water.
How about a tour of your RV park--showing us the various amenities available. Also a video on setting up a RV in a campsite. How to do all the hook ups, and maintainence, etc. Assume we know nothing--cause some of us don't. Also--how about a video on the cons of living in an RV... Would also really like to know what you do for work...

I think you might need a plastic material one behind the sheer curtain. This way, it won't be seen through like it is now. Also, it will protect the water from getting onto the flooring better. Just a thought ❤.
You have done a great job! As far as the shower, I would just take the glass out, add a light tan liner behind the outer. Which the one you chose is very pretty and lets in light. Plus it doesn't cut off the size. As far as repainting your cabinets. I would just put some bright pillows,rugs, art work, decor. etc. Decor is everything. It finishes off the pallet and brings everything together. The color you chose is good for that area. Just my thoughts. Oh, and maybe just get a garbage can for outside, that helps with varmints. Great job!

I would put your throw pillows out on your table before you repaint cuz you might end up liking it if you do. Also I like the curtain but a green to match your kitchen would be cool too.
Leah, put the shower curtain in side the shower it will hold the water in, instead of outside of it, stand inside put the curtain up on the inside. You should get a big garbage tub with wheels on it the wheel it to your drive way so the dogs don't get at it..Just put your name on it..
Instead of chairs for your dining table you could always have your brothers make you benches. It would fit perfectly and you could slide them under the table. 👍
I think you could take doors completely out of shower area and use liner to run water in base just like house and it will give you more shower space and easier cleaning. I like the sheer for allowing light to still come in but a thicker more opaque curtain would be nice. The kitchen table is alway hard in a camper which is why they typically have pedestal style so 2 chairs can fit under. You can either use smaller legs out as far as possible of maybe attach to wall if there is enough supports in slide out. Obviously with just you 2 chairs is enough it would only matter with company.

She did have a liner she was hooking up on the inside of the shower already!
She did get one and installed it but she can replace it with a solid white one and that will take care of the sheer issue.
You could take out those 2 glass doors and not have to worry about them. NO KEEPING THEM CLEAN! WOO-HOO 🎉🎉🎉

Spray the chairs with Zevo, you do not know if someone has bed bugs. The curtains idea works very well. Keep it cheer, a small place needs light.

Your car needs a timing chain replacement before it’s too late. If you wait any longer you’re going to need a whole engine replacement when that chain breaks.

@@maryc4152 it’ll only do it on start up after the car has been sitting all night typically. Usually means it needs a timing chain or timing chain and cam phasers which are usually all done together anyway.

Put a white shower liner on the same hooks but on the inside of the shower doors and that will help keep any water IN the shower and also make it less shear.
I love your camper! One thing you can look at doing is upgrading to a tiny home. They have some that are all open and bright. And I believe there are tiny home parks too. Best of luck on the water leak. I know you and your brothers will figure it all out!!
I know this was 2 months ago but I would keep and repair the old table, this way you can put all your chairs around it. I like the sheer curtain too by the way.
I think your place is lovely! As many others have mentioned, by adding decorations it’ll add colors and dimension to your space. I think the curtain looks good. I think anything darker would make the bathroom even smaller, if that makes sense. You have a really neat setup and family to help you. I’m jelly in a good way 😊

The gap in your shower door could be where the leaks is. Also the shower curtain should be inside the lip of the shower to keep water in.

I think the sheer shower curtain looks good for the bathroom, but what I did in my bathroom is I layered to curtains so I had one draped open and then another shower curtain behind it .

Try using natural daylight led light bulbs. And highly recommend Sherwin Williams Emerald urethane trim paint for your island. Performs like an oil base paint but cleans with soap and water.
How about a tour of your RV park--showing us the various amenities available. Also a video on setting up a RV in a campsite. How to do all the hook ups, and maintainence, etc. Assume we know nothing--cause some of us don't. Also--how about a video on the cons of living in an RV... Would also really like to know what you do for work...

I think you might need a plastic material one behind the sheer curtain. This way, it won't be seen through like it is now. Also, it will protect the water from getting onto the flooring better. Just a thought ❤.
Suggestion: either you or your brothers make a pedestal base for your table. That way the table legs won't be in the way of your chairs.
You have done a great job! As far as the shower, I would just take the glass out, add a light tan liner behind the outer. Which the one you chose is very pretty and lets in light. Plus it doesn't cut off the size. As far as repainting your cabinets. I would just put some bright pillows,rugs, art work, decor. etc. Decor is everything. It finishes off the pallet and brings everything together. The color you chose is good for that area. Just my thoughts. Oh, and maybe just get a garbage can for outside, that helps with varmints. Great job!
Try putting some cute small lamps on the counter and table instead of repainting. Also I think a not sheer shower curtain would look better :)

I would put your throw pillows out on your table before you repaint cuz you might end up liking it if you do. Also I like the curtain but a green to match your kitchen would be cool too.

Leah, put the shower curtain in side the shower it will hold the water in, instead of outside of it, stand inside put the curtain up on the inside. You should get a big garbage tub with wheels on it the wheel it to your drive way so the dogs don't get at it..Just put your name on it..

Instead of chairs for your dining table you could always have your brothers make you benches. It would fit perfectly and you could slide them under the table. 👍
I think you could take doors completely out of shower area and use liner to run water in base just like house and it will give you more shower space and easier cleaning. I like the sheer for allowing light to still come in but a thicker more opaque curtain would be nice. The kitchen table is alway hard in a camper which is why they typically have pedestal style so 2 chairs can fit under. You can either use smaller legs out as far as possible of maybe attach to wall if there is enough supports in slide out. Obviously with just you 2 chairs is enough it would only matter with company.
