Thank you! I'm currently doing a rotation on Head and Neck Surgery and this is very helpful. I always search for a video from you to watch before studying, it helps me understand the details later when I'm reading. I can't thank you enough!
Oh my goodness! This is so good. Please keep sharing these amazing videos. You are doing a wonderful service sharing the finest quality medical education free of charge to the whole world.
Thank you SO MUCH for the clarification of myxedema (previously synonymous with hypothyroid/Hashimoto's) vs. pre-tibial myxedema (associated with hyperthyroid/Grave's Disease). You just untangled a knot in my mind. Much appreciated.
Hi Eric, thanks for the fantastic lecture. More often I have found clinically hypothyroidism causes HYPERtension, and this is kinda counter-intuitive considering hypothyroidism reduces cardiac output, so would be worth of a mention in your lecture I think. Apparently the deposition of glycosaminoglycans etc peripherally increases systemic vascular resistance, causing hypertension, or at least that's my understanding of it.
Thankyou for a wonderful and knowledgeable information. which it helps me, the trainee nurse in developing country to build my knowledge to help serving my people. 👩⚕️🙏
Yes, I'm working on those now. Unfortunately hemostasis is a complex topic, and it's taking me a little longer than anticipated. Hopefully, I'll be able to start posting these videos later this week...
