ConsoleCleric oh yeah I mean he was right in his play decisions. It's just his delivery! well before they were losing his manner was already that of the last game of his life!
when you have youtube alt tabbed and this video gets put up next and you think an hct match just started playing. This is probably a good thing but admirale just has such a caster voice in my mind, even when he talks to his friends he sounds like he's casting.
Don't get me wrong, Admirable is clearly a good, intelligent player, and his detailed advice nearer the end was warranted because of how close the game became. Man did he piss me off in the first half or 2/3 of the game though. Firebat doesn't need him to talk for the entire turn about the most basic, obvious play and why he should make that play.
Because you try to attack with a green thing automatically. I suppose that lots of Legend players play the game a lot, and when you do so, you tend to do some things without thinking.
Sure, but these are LEGEND players. You'd think that reaching the top echelons of ladder would require a lot of thinking. Then again, a lot of people do it with braindead aggro decks, so maybe they aren't used to thinking.
Honestly, a lot of the times people do it it's just out of jest, like "haha it shows I can attack so I'll make the motion, but yeah I can't." They don't *actually* think they can attack, just that it's funny to try. Not sure that's what was going on in this case however.

So true: I doubt any of the naysayers thought through it more than that. Admirable was great, the discussion of plays he brought with Firebat was excellent. His suggestions weren't always correct, but a lot of the times they were, and thinking about playing the 4/3 to counter a potential volcano out was definitely right. It also helps against a healing rain or any removal the shaman might draw off a creature.
STFU with your safe space bullshit. A large amount of the audience watches Firebat for entertainment, not to be a top tier player (as evidenced by the constant love towards his editor). Admirable provided very little entertainment.
Firebat is laid-back and informative. The other guy talks like his life depends on this one game. It's like he has sth to prove. Ruined the video for me. Archivist hexing ultrasaur is sth that'd normally make me laugh. Instead i'm like 'STFU already'
Firebat, where do I send my decklist for fixing? It's a baku otk quest temporus priest, it's pretty darn good now with a few of the new cards (been working on it since last expansion)
I dunno. I couldn't watch past 5 mins. Admirable is smart, I get it, but the way he talks just makes this video not fun to watch. He just like undermines Firebat every 5 seconds. Maybe it's just me idk.
The impression I got was that Admirable was there so that he could help teach Firebat the deck. He seems to have more experience with it, so I didn't see at him undermining Firebat so much as helping guide him into playing the deck better.
I find he mimics all those annoying Zalae-isms and comes across that way, on top of that Firebat seems pretty tired in this video so it kind of compounds the impression you're describing
I dont care what people say. You won that game because the enemy had one of the worst RNG I've seen in a while. Skill had little to do with this win. Also that "admirable" guy was tryharding SO MUCH even in a game decided by RNG. That guy was disgusting.
No joke that was one of the sickest games I’ve seen in hearthstone history. Well played
It's rare that I see someone give equal or more insight into plays than Firebat from his guests. Admirable is great and I'd love to see more of him.
I once won a game because I Unstable Evolutioned into an Ultrasaur. An Ultrasaur that won two 1/7 brawls. Love that goofy smiley dino.
Ultrasaur OP
I won a game the other day after Unstable Evolutioning into Ultrasaur and casting Triple Cryostasis on it. It's just too good
I've just played a golden ultrasaur before in hunter and the guy I played against had a good sense of humour and conceded
Think about it, getting into a brawl with ultrasaur is kinda dumb, the dude's gugantic. He's going to win every time.
RAWR :3
jeez is Admirable that intense all the time?!
It was valid. That comeback was one of the best I've ever seen.
ConsoleCleric oh yeah I mean he was right in his play decisions. It's just his delivery! well before they were losing his manner was already that of the last game of his life!
BuzzaB77 For an 8-hour stream, yeah I'd see it becoming annoying. I think Admirable would be a great Hearthstone commentator.
BuzzaB77 sadly, he is. he also gets very edgy. there are other videos with him on this channel which i do not recommend you watch
ConsoleCleric yeah he would definitely.
"MOUNTAIN GIANT"
"..we play another mountain giant right?"
"YEEEAAH"
4,000 people x 100 bits = $10 million, thats some firebat math right there
30 for sure seal of approval
5 + 4 is 10
"You're gonna die sometimes and I'm ok with that." -Admirable 2018
Guardian Craze he truly hates firebat.
that was a very well played and explained game. Good job lads
7:42 That WOO would make Ric Flair proud
Ok Admirable is the best guest ever, that guy is awesome.
that guy is ADMIRABLE
This makes up for yesterday's short video.
13:40 There's another out if he topdecks Giggling into lightning bolt. Can't hellfire then
Idk why people are hating on Admirable. He's the best lol
The dodge at 12:15 my goodness
admirable you rock dont let others put you down
Tell that to him for us will ya :)

i love admirable

Giggling into lightning storm was an out for him as well
I learnt more from Admirable than ever from Zalae.
He's a lot less sarcastic.
Zalae is misleading for comedic purposes, so I'd say that's certainly true
Zalea tells you alot about going face
Who's the guest with Firebat? Wish I knew who he was when I was trying for Legend with Even Warlock this week
How is it possible that 100% of Legend players don't know how Rush works
Because you try to attack with a green thing automatically. I suppose that lots of Legend players play the game a lot, and when you do so, you tend to do some things without thinking.

50% of "legend" players are brainless. This game doesn't need much brains because hearthstone
why does admirable guy talk like his life depends on this game?
Well... in a way, it does lol
He's got a resting bitch voice according to himself in twitch chat yesterday.
he's a caster and he gets excited about the game, I love it honestly it shows he's super into it
You don’t become a pro gamer by being indifferent about the game you play professionally

Thank you so much for this format, it will save me countless minutes
Ur nuts

Jesus it's so quiet
pretty sure at the end there, the guy was hoping you would concede.
It's so silly, because once you start hovering, it's obvious that it's a "bluff". All I have to do is kick back and wait for the player to give up.
The targeting bluffing thing is something I sorely miss in Shadowverse
Firebat, where do I send my decklist for fixing? It's a baku otk quest temporus priest, it's pretty darn good now with a few of the new cards (been working on it since last expansion)
The omnistone twitter will tweet when they are looking for decks
Admirable speaks like Vince Vaughn :P
He sounds almost exactly like Steve Rannazzisi
Editor smartly didn't try to take away from the moment that hex hit. Still laughing at that happening.
SOMEONE THOUGHT OF SOMETHING MY PERFECT STREAMER TWINK DIDN'T THINK OF REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
decklist?
Does Firebat ever play arena?
Isn't this day9 not Admiral?
Nah Day9 would've gone on a tangent about how he masturbated in a public space one time or something.
Wow I'm early!
Admirable seems cool but I wish he wouldn't squelch Firebat so much
No matter high I crank the volume, I can't hear admirable.
It's so quiet
I dunno. I couldn't watch past 5 mins. Admirable is smart, I get it, but the way he talks just makes this video not fun to watch. He just like undermines Firebat every 5 seconds. Maybe it's just me idk.
Ark Addams I assume its just his personality, also he doesnt seem like someone who undermines others to me
The people you bring to play with you are supposed to challenge your decisions, otherwise they would just spectate in-game and not join the stream

Idk who this guy is, but he gives way too much advice
I dunno I think he's quite Admirable.
WrathOfMega ayy lmao
timg4444 firebat asked him to teach him play the evenlock deck, so thats what hes doing
Really? He was giving solid points all the time
I found him kinda annoying to begin with, but holly shit he knew what he was talking about. By the end I was in awe of his brain power lol
P.S stopped watching after 3minutes because Admiral just doesn't shut up. Ever.
I don't mind, his insight is pretty useful and sometimes changes firebat's mind
Admirable*
Also, Firebat asked him to teach him how to best play Evenlock, so that's what he's doing.
