For more information on Dorothy Kilgallen mystery there is a good book written by Mark Shaw. I love the 1970s Hollywood era making these political films asking questions, questions now we Hollywood don’t ask.
I still think Oswald likely acted alone (Bugliosi's Reclaiming History is an exhaustive study), but I can appreciate why people are skeptical. Anyway, yes- Parallax View is a great film!
Dr. Perry was the primary doctor who tried to save President Kennedy's life in the E.R. at Parkland on the day of the shooting. He determined the throat wound to be an entrance wound. After repeatedly--in the days following-- being pressured by a senior Secret Service agent to change his assessment and say that the throat wound was an exit wound, Dr. Perry finally acquiesced and did. HSCA in 1976 to senior secret service agent: "Is it true that in the days following the death of President Kennedy that you repeatedly pressured Doctor Perry to change his assessment of the throat wound so as to say that it was an exit wound?" Senior SS agent: "Yes." HSCA: "Why did you do that?" Senior SS agent: "Because my supervisor told me to."
Oswald scored a 212 in his Dec 1956 Marine shooting qualification, classifying him for a “sharpshooter” badge (at that time). He was a good, not expert shot. The ‘difficulty’of the Dallas shooting has been inflated by conspiracy nauts
Documents can be doctored but an eyewitness is stone cold proof that Oswald was a poor marksman. According to an eye witness - former Marine Nelson Delgado, Oswald was “a pretty big joke” because he got a lot of complete misses. Another Marine Sherman Cooley “If I had to pick one man in the entire United States to shoot me, I’d pick Oswald. I saw the man shoot. There’s no way he could have ever learned to shoot well enough to do what they accused him of doing in Dallas.” Now give Oswald, the bolt action, Italian carbine, Carcano Model 91/38 that was found on the 6th floor of the Book Depository Building. No matter how good a shot you are, you can’t shoot with consistent expertise with a crap weapon like the bolt action, Italian carbine, Carcano Model 91/38.
Exactly . I was classified as “Expert” with a title in my Basic Training in the Army 1977. Expert is higher than Sharpshooter. Oswald was not a great shot
Er, no. JFK is based very closely on Jim Garrison's book On The Trail of the Assassins (which I've read), it's almost a documentary. Very different. The Parallax View was a great fictional thriller but extremely light and vague about actual conspiracy details.
I love this film with every fibre of my being.
Me too.

Now Hollywood simply pushes leftist political and social ideology.
The soundtrack was superb.
Oh thank you Mr Cox and co. It's a brilliant film.
This movie is so brutal and so close to the truth in the way that real true power is unseen and unknowable and unaccountable
Great video!
Why does the government give a shit about a dope like me? What’s the end game?
