To be fair, had the prototype been able to be fully developed, the method used in all the video games no doubt would’ve been what it used. But we’ll never know since it never was able to get beyond just a tool room prototype. Interesting how this gun became a pop culture icon anyways while many other failed prototype designs are long forgotten.

I think it became a pop culture icon due to its aesthetics. I can imagine it in a sci fi setting

@@Jayalen True, but there are a lot of weird Sci Fi looking prototype guns that don’t have the same presence as the Jackhammer.
I did hear the prototype was sold to a movie armorer, which may explain why so many video games could see and model it.

We'll never know how the "perfected" prototype can be loaded
Edit: Someone did the trollish animation. See description

Actually the MK1 is rarely shown in games, it's often the mk3 which we can assume would have a more straight forward reload.
However I think the most accurate ones should be when the pump is going forward and then change the mag.
I can imagine the central axis being pulled out forward.

Imagine an update version with rails, threaded barrel, tritium sights, oh & a improved loading system.

Not really the same, but I always thought the Tavor TS-12 had some of the Pancor Jackhammer aesthetics in it.

No rails, they'd ruin the looks of the gun. I would be happy with night sights and a normal magazine system. PSA or something needs to get on it

The tactical repload for thbis gun would be throwing the empty gun away before pulling out a new Pancor Jackhammer

As cool it looks, it's one of the issues why it was so improperly built that it killed its company.

You didn't show the full reload on Battlefield 2 where He first slides the handguard to the front before changing the magazine, but nonetheless it's still not fully accurate
