So cute labels and their little boxes. We could use the boxes for mixed media art in tiny can, right? 😁 About the walks, Lucas, The Mistery Man is so right. Walking helps our bodies and souls. My hubby is also the one who is dragging me out. Today we went to feed the ducks and it was so nice to be close to nature. We are so blessed to have them 😍💜🇧🇷🇫🇮

Maybe even connect them open to each other as if it would be some sort of canvas and create different motifs inside them. For example we could imagine a building with some tiny objects inside and each box would be a different scene. Ok, I might be dreaming awake now as I should be in bed already 🤣 It's pretty late for me here in Finland, but I wanted to watch your video until the end. 😊

I am nearly done with this art journaling project. I found some tiny word and phrase stickers that are multi-colored. I had forgotten all about those. Fortunately, they were in my sentiments container. The stickers look so pretty and I can decorate further with any color I wish. I found different florals from napkins to use for my focal point. I still need to add stenciling and coloring.
I am so excited about the appearance of this piece. Thanks, my girl! You are such a magnanimous (is that a word?) inspiration that gets me going at art right now while I am in a creative slump. Once I start, I eventually finish. I do not want to waste my materials. I have at least three of your projects going right now. I tend to let things dry naturally. I am using less background paper right now and that is helping me for the time being. I have less time to think.
I am still putting together materials for today for the membership LIVE class. It is only a bit over 5 hours from now. YAY! BTW, I am going to shade and smudge or paint on this project with a colored inktense pencil or my Woodies. I will have to make sure that the Woodies smudge before I begin.
May you see the beauty in nature and in your family during these troublesome days. I am so glad that you get out some every day. Bravo for Lucas motivating you! @@MaremiSmallArt I stopped for a number of reasons. I was watching videos that were completely different in style & technique, and I was pressed for time. Your videos were a little long, and at the time, I just wanted something quicker. Now I see and appreciate the detail (which takes time) you put into your work. I think we all have times when our tastes change. I hope this makes sense to you.

Hi, Marta! I finally completed this project yesterday and I absolutely love it. I did the basics like yours, but added some little 3D butterflies (in addition to three others....one of them is yours), tiny buttons in colors that match the page, and 7 little flowers with each glued onto the house or roof that matches in color. I also did a dash-dot doodling in and around every roof and house base with my white Uniball Signo. It is so cute. I have doors on my houses too. I have the piece on my little table in the dining room and read it numerous times each day now. It is part of a little fall display. Thanks so much for your inspiration to make this, especially with such a positive message. I love you, dear girl.
Also, I upgraded to Maremi Special and then had second thoughts, but I cannot figure out how to get back to the Knock Knock level. Maybe after the holiday gifts and January birthday presents are sent I can upgrade and stay there. For now I must downgrade. Please help me figure this out. I easily found how to upgrade, but there is no downgrade button. Thanks, dearest Marta!
On to finishing my tiny box project. I went off on my own tangent with that project too. I will work on it in spurts as I also make the label art journaling piece. I have numerous tiny word labels and tags that I can use instead of labels. I have been wanting a way to use them. I do have a wall stencil so I will try that over the tiny labels and tags that have words (like faith, hope, love, smile. etc.) as you did over your larger vintage labels.
I am going to start using recycled boxes from my Lean Cuisine meals instead of paper. They will be about 5 X 7. I have not made anything that small in a couple years. Sometimes I glue two of the box panels together (each box has two panels to use) to make the base firmer. I have a lot of the freezer meal boxes to use. Perhaps enough for a couple years depending on how often I use them. I wish I had started saving them much sooner. I would have hundreds of them.
For your exclusive LIVE class on Saturday I am using a 12" x 12" grayboard from the back of a paper pad. I wish I had many more of those. I repurpose what I can. I want to see whether I can create something large without stressing out. I have not created anything larger than 8" x 10". Eventually I would like to make some 11 x 14 painted mixed media pieces for my bedroom wall.
See you Saturday. I am looking through my stash to find many choices for Saturday's project. My enthusiasm is growing as I pick items out. It has reminded me about things I have that I have not used in ages or have never used. I still have to go through my box of chipboard. Love to all of you!

This is a one of a kind piece. I would never have thought of using the labels that way. You always have such wonderful ideas. I need to start doing more shading so I become more comfortable with it. I have a couple pieces that I have done that would probably be enhanced by adding shading, but I am not ready to take the risk. I have not been doing enough crafting lately. I need to get with it! If I am not mistaken it has been a while since you mentioned that white gesso can be added underneath rice paper or napkins when you do not want things from underneath to show through. Just thought I would mention that. There may be newer subscribers that do not know that. Thanks for this video! I really needed to spend time with you today. Love to you, my girl, and to the rest of the family!

Hi Marta that was a great tip about those massages that a video is uploaded and you get no notification. In summer I watch less and there are actually some YTbers I follow, like you from whome I got no more notifications which I did not understand. Now I do.
