That lodge was absolutely amazing and it’s definitely somewhere I’d love to stay and recommend 🥰 also orewa being so close by, I think we’ve been to that Thai restaurant a while back but I can’t remember 😅🙈 and that dish Peter tried, I can see myself eating that 🙈🙈🙈😍 mind you in raro, we eat ripe bananas with certain dishes so it’s kinda normal for me lmao anyway I’ll tell my partner we need to visit Honey Centre and try the Mead😅🙈thanks for this vlog guys, can’t wait for the next one 😍🥰

Took my partner to Te Rakau lodge for his birthday and we absolutely loved Linda and Alastair's hospitality. The highlight was the private beach access
oh no driving the wrong way is the worst! lol great scenery! mmmm love cheese, so good with some sliced meats and crackers. so tempting not just to eat the cake in the car haha. wow so up close to the bees. interesting about the viking drinking mead back in the day. Amaaaazing place!! looks so nice and love all the bits and pieces to it. so impressive he did that himself! that's a lot of work haha tina loves the trampoline too. she would really like that!
Hahahaha Tina always says it's you three that r the kids but truth is it's Tina isn't it 😂 can totally picture you guys living it up at this accommodation, the kids would have loved the beach nearby and the playground 😁👍

I’ve totally been lost like that before in the coromandel. We were stuck on a gravel road for 4 hours in the bush 😂😂.Sucks they don’t have the pools out there anymore. hello peter and yen. i wish you would stop tormenting me with these videos haha. just keeps making me want to visit your amazing country again. it looks fab up in that area , i never went up there when i was there. loved the airbnb you stayed in , i must admit when i went to the corramandel coast i stayed in a similar airbnb to that in whitianga, there are some super stays all around new zealand, in the u.k. mead used to be made by the monks back in the dark ages, that cheese place looked amazing too . yep totaly enjoyed this video and once again very well executed. but i must say i was so suprised that peter was not tempted to buy an ice cream, is he feeling ok haha. made my weekend once again , so a big thanks guys from me and you both take care yeah.

@@PeterandYen My first post-lockdown escape was to Ohakune and the Taumaranui area. I had driven down the Desert Road heaps of times but never stopped to explore the plateau and OH MAN I was blown away. If you haven't been then I highly recommend it. We had planned to stay 3 days but ended up staying a week!

😅 yeah prices in New Zealand are definitely on the higher end compared to Asia. $200 nzd a night is pretty standard in Auckland and 90% of the time it doesn't look any where as amazing as this place 😁✌
I think in the end banana works pretty well with curry cause it's quite creamy so is the curry and then you get that slight salty, spicy sweet mix with some seafood yup it works 🤤

😅 yeah anything umf 18 plus is like crazy expensive. Apparently it makes you recover pretty quick when you're sick though. We've only tried the 5 and 10 umf and its pretty good for colds especially.

So many beautiful places in NZ. I think Milford Sound was pretty amazing! I am in West Aus and we have been pretty lucky compared to the eastern states re COVID-19. Our state borders are still closed and need to remain closed, at least for now.
we've been there..puhoi village..love that place..we also camped a lot around there..mahurangi beach..plus..once hubby was offered a job in engineering workshop there..not much money n it felt so far to travel back n forth with teenage kids...wish we did settle there years ago..now kids all grown up..married..we stuck in oz...wanna move back...😘🤞🙏💖

That lodge was absolutely amazing and it’s definitely somewhere I’d love to stay and recommend 🥰 also orewa being so close by, I think we’ve been to that Thai restaurant a while back but I can’t remember 😅🙈 and that dish Peter tried, I can see myself eating that 🙈🙈🙈😍 mind you in raro, we eat ripe bananas with certain dishes so it’s kinda normal for me lmao anyway I’ll tell my partner we need to visit Honey Centre and try the Mead😅🙈thanks for this vlog guys, can’t wait for the next one 😍🥰

oh no driving the wrong way is the worst! lol great scenery! mmmm love cheese, so good with some sliced meats and crackers. so tempting not just to eat the cake in the car haha. wow so up close to the bees. interesting about the viking drinking mead back in the day. Amaaaazing place!! looks so nice and love all the bits and pieces to it. so impressive he did that himself! that's a lot of work haha tina loves the trampoline too. she would really like that!

I’ve totally been lost like that before in the coromandel. We were stuck on a gravel road for 4 hours in the bush 😂😂.Sucks they don’t have the pools out there anymore. Those drone shots were stunning. Love your Airbnb! You guys always eat the tastiest Asian food 😋. Looking forward to seeing more of your road trips around NZ 😍

hello peter and yen. i wish you would stop tormenting me with these videos haha. just keeps making me want to visit your amazing country again. it looks fab up in that area , i never went up there when i was there. loved the airbnb you stayed in , i must admit when i went to the corramandel coast i stayed in a similar airbnb to that in whitianga, there are some super stays all around new zealand, in the u.k. mead used to be made by the monks back in the dark ages, that cheese place looked amazing too . yep totaly enjoyed this video and once again very well executed. but i must say i was so suprised that peter was not tempted to buy an ice cream, is he feeling ok haha. made my weekend once again , so a big thanks guys from me and you both take care yeah.

@@PeterandYen My first post-lockdown escape was to Ohakune and the Taumaranui area. I had driven down the Desert Road heaps of times but never stopped to explore the plateau and OH MAN I was blown away. If you haven't been then I highly recommend it. We had planned to stay 3 days but ended up staying a week!

That's indeed an amazing holiday home!! The view is incredible!! Love how it's surrounded by nature... the view thoughhhhhh!! Ahhh price would be much more affordable if we earn in USD haha! 😅 yeah prices in New Zealand are definitely on the higher end compared to Asia. $200 nzd a night is pretty standard in Auckland and 90% of the time it doesn't look any where as amazing as this place 😁✌

I think in the end banana works pretty well with curry cause it's quite creamy so is the curry and then you get that slight salty, spicy sweet mix with some seafood yup it works 🤤

😅 yeah anything umf 18 plus is like crazy expensive. Apparently it makes you recover pretty quick when you're sick though. We've only tried the 5 and 10 umf and its pretty good for colds especially.

So many beautiful places in NZ. I think Milford Sound was pretty amazing! I am in West Aus and we have been pretty lucky compared to the eastern states re COVID-19. Our state borders are still closed and need to remain closed, at least for now.
