Super thanks! You not only show how to use wrap function but also a relation trick for linking dimension for live updating the geometry.

Can you show how you thickened the wrap and removed the material?

HI! I was used wrap to make a sketch, but I could not figure out how you made the slot afterwards. I tried out variable section sweep, offset, and many other things but it didn't work. I see you used trim and thicken to make it. Could you explain to me what you trimmed and how it was able to be thickened?

It was a while ago but I think what I did here was - Copy the external surfaces of the cylinder, Select the newly copied quilt, trim the quilt to one of the sketched curves, trim the quilt to the second sketched curve and then finally thicken the quilt while removing material.
This does seem like a long winded way of doing now, as I think you could achieve the same using a sweep while controlling the x-direction.
      Hope this helps.

Would it be possible to go into more detail in a video on this?

How would you create a 0.15 mm thick insulator that sticks to a curved part? I think sheet metal so it can be unbent to create an accurate manufacturing drawing? Would appreciate your input.

      Hi Platekok TV,
Thanks for your comment. Can you please describe what sort of curved part you are talking about, is it a cylinder, sphere or is it more of an organic type shape?

      Hi Heramb Achary,
We currently don't have a video on how to do this at the moment but I have provided a link below to a PTC forum, where someone from the community has.
      www.ptcusercommunity.com/docs/DOC-3864
We may be able to get round to doing one of our own at some point.
      Hope that helps.

Root Solutions Ltd I watched dat video already but this method don't let us do the analysis on ansys or hyper works. it cause a meshing error.
I hope you are getting what I am trying to say.

How are you getting the CAD model from Creo into Ansys/Hyperworks?
