I'm pretty sure the Deadfall barrel on the Fennec reduces hipfire by almost 50% and the best way to build it is the other barrel with 3 stats no sound suppressions + add the suppressor. Think Jgod or someone similar made a video on that

Merc grip and Tac Laser on the VAL instead of the rubberized tape and the ranger foregrip, trust me. Ranger barrel on the FFAR instead of the Task Force one for better bullet velocity.
True, you gotta be precise with the thing, almost think of it as a 8 round burst weapon. Cant be wasting shots spraying it. If it had 50 or so rounds people might use it more
A really fast killing gun is also the fin lmg with the longest adverse barrel commando foregrip, tac Lazer, holo combat site and monolithic (also you can swap the commando for the extra 25 rounds that the 100 rounds magazine gives)
@Andrew Dudley yes for the recoil but I am willing to sacrifice that for mobility. I have used a hipfire build with the merc, 5mw, the recoil stock, 30 rd mag, and sleight of hand and it was incredible too. Just a little different

I've found that switching the rubberized tape for the tac lazer is better for the AS-VAL in my opinion
Fennec and AS Val is just hard on ammo, even the Mac 10 is easier to manage ammo with the larger magazines.
Even 40 rounds isn't enough for the Fennec due to how absolutely quick it's fire rate is

One of the knocks against the Fennec is even with 40 rounds, it still isn't enough for that weapon due to how insanely quick it dishes out bullets 👀

Your ruining the game
I run the Val with a regular stock and sleight of hand to help with the small mag issue. Been one of my favorites since it came out.
