Imagine being the commentators and seeing Rock Slide doing like 20 damage. Imagine knowing you will have to watch almost 30 minutes of ultra-turtling and not being able to skip it. Poor guys.
I am one of them. What different Pokémon are you seeing them using? Is Zapdos or Venusaur as popular as grimmsnarl or incineroar no. But I’ve seen these Pokémon uses before and if you look at their teams they have commonly used Pokémon in vgc battles. But I digress, I can only speak for myself I would like to creatively put together Pokémon teams that haven’t been meta. For full disclosure maybe I’m being a prisoner of thinking gym battles and local battles where you put together a team based off of who you liked and what Pokémon complimented others based off of what you want to do But to this battle this was a great defensive battle to me.
Yeah this time with so many pivots and switches even landorus-T being neutral to stealth rock would be punished hard it would be worst for incineroar and thundurus-I
This isn’t a knock on Gavin at all but his play style is sleep inducing. Just severely defensive and cheesy. Nothing wrong with it but definitely doesn’t add any sort of excitement to matches. Thankfully the commentators saved this
@@jamesc7894 you misunderstand. When Julio won, he dominated and was entertaining because of his big brain plays. His utter domination was entertaining in itself. Gavin just kinda was there

Is that no attack invest Groudon
Turtling was punished hard by critical hits.
If you’re gonna play slow, be ready to eat a couple crits.
I actually enjoy these commentators, they were pretty funny.
Enjoy the content. Thank you!
People often complain that everyone uses the same thing. Now when they see something different, they still complain.
Life in the cheap seats.

1:10 he says “farting shot” LMAO
Can anyone explain how the hell zapdos get hit by ground type attack
Roost has an added effect of removing a pokemon's flying type during the turn its used, thus zapdos lost its immunity to ground.
@@feezee5196 Thx
After used roost
Flying Pokémon is grounded during that turn
leftovers speedy Groudon went off
i'm people say stealth rocks is no good in the competitive to seen
Its doubles format, stealth rock js useless
@@chris-lh6ol and with how much switching was in this game you're telling me stealth rocks would not have been a big help?

Stealth Rocks sounds like a great counter for Incineroar switch in and outs.
Still pretty bad

The point is to win, not entertain

Sleep inducing you say? Pun intended?
The weather-intimidate rotation is so boring 😪
