    Very flexible base recipe. Raisins are nice inside, or a thumb dent on top to hold a dab of jam for fancy. Very nutritious!

    I once screwed up with fudge badly. I rolled the mixture into balls then rolled in crushed nuts/ coconut. Saved the mistake and everyone loved them. This looks fantastic and so easy. I guess you could also press it into a pan, top with chocolate and cut into little squares. Oh yeah :o)

    Terrific 👍Thanks for that . Put in some chopped up dried apricots or dates then I roll them in coconut as well. Ps I don’t have the quick oats so I’ll just pop them for a few seconds in the food processor before I put them into the mixture 👍

      Hi Cresty. It's fine to not cook the oats since the oats will absorb the moisture from the bananas and the peanut butter. The moisture will then soften it and it's perfectly fine to eat :D

    I just made some, I used crunchy nut peanut butter for extra bite, they are absolutely wonderful. Thanks for a great recipe. I might put no added sugar choc chips in it next time and another time try with cinnamon and then with no added sugar chocolate spread. Could you bake them if you wanted to?

    You should make peanut butter banana rolls. Peanut butter and a whole banana on good healthy bread,roll into a tube, chill then cut into rounds.TASTE GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!

    Btw guys, I think this will be a great treat for dog owners as well, as all the ingredients are foods that dogs love and plus oatmeal is very healthy for dogs. Don't add honey if you are gonna give them to puppies though. You can also make them smaller, cool them down and keep them in a box as dog treats.

      Sam, don't worry about cooking the oats. The oats absorb all the moisture from the banana, so they aren't hard. Don't worry, they turn out delicious no matter what!
