I thought this one was a little tricky for a Monday. I got stuck in a couple of the same spots as you. I had to leave and come back to it later before I figured it out.
This is not to be confused with the boatswain (bosun for short), the head of crew on a ship. And the bosun is not to be confused with the boson, an elementary particle with an integral spin (as opposed to the fermion with half a spin).
