Another reason he back away is allegedly School boy Q hit him up and told him this isn’t about you and the beef isn’t going to be competitive between Drake and Kendrick
@@LAWST1 Q n Punch both did cause Q was at Dreamfest the week after Coles diss dropped
People keep over looking this
Can y'all please stop that tired ass narrative and let this man have his moment to vent and speak his truth
Him mentioning bots ain't that crazy, everyone knows they get used.
Its crazy how you guys understand the lyrics and mesage more than hiphop journalist these days . Great reaction
You dont have to have any animosity to engage in a rap battle ma. Its just hip hop. Thats what its built on.
@@jayc5756 but there was animosity between two other guys involved
@@adayinthelifeofjsowavyyy7404 I was talking about Cole & Kendrick. That's what they were talking about that I was responding to bruh.
literally every rap battle was full of animosity lol it was always people who hated each other
please rewind a few seconds after you pause the songs because u often pause midway of the next bar
thank you!! okay will do in the future :)
Stop pausing, not rewinding the track AFTER the pause, and talking over the bars 🤦🏾♂️ Missed so many gems by trying to hurry up and talk over each other. Smh.
Kat pops out 5 months later talkin bout what he COULDA done - but didnt. He "would have" bodied? We'll never know - he should just move on and step away from the idea of beef forever more and reinvent himself.
Casuals. He never even insinuated that. Fake narratives by bots
They are so fine
Bruh how tf could i focus on what they sayin' when the girl on the right is so beautiful i cant keep my shii straight
bro grow up, this ain't a compliment...people are more than their beauty?! There shouldn't be limitations?
corny ahh
@@sasmoz1393 in other words....I concur
Disgustingly simpish
go outside more bruhthis internet sht fckin with yo brain
Delusional fans. Still living in fantasy land believing Cole would beat Kendrick "if he really tried." Both Drake and Kendrick made "warning shot" tracks in the battle, and they were all better than 7 Minute Drill. Cole didn't abstain from the battle, he jumped in. And it wasn't very good. Can't let you just fantasize about him beating the other guys, when all the evidence we have says otherwise. This is irrational fan behavior, not based in observable reality.
You don't know that....
@@adamw4020 I don't know what? I'm talking about things that actually happened. Objective reality.
@@blacklinkfirelink2304 Cole fans trying to gaslight us like Cole gaslighted them. LOL
J Cole fumbled his withdrawal from the beef. I respect the maturity, but he should’ve executed it in a creative way that didn’t leave him looking crazy
@@RonDJuan “They stripped me of my spot and now I’m finally free” think about that real quick
@@abdeezy3712 You won’t find a bigger Cole fan than me & I was at Dreamville to see the apology in person. The apology came off bad, I agree that exiting the beef was the right thing to do
@@RonDJuan lol not entirely sure if your a Cole fan. it is what it is tho find your reasoning
He literally dont look crazy at all just cause your upset he didnt feed into the rap beef you are proving his point crying cause he didnt continue to diss people lmao.
@@Dai1lestDude you ain’t fan if you never questioned your favorite artist, that makes you a Stan who puts your favorite artist on a pedestal they don’t even truly believe.
If your still running with this Schoolboy Q narrative, you need to give it a rest. Because best believe that Cole had probably already made the decision to back out and not be involved stop giving Schoolboy Q credit for something he didn't have a hand
Like you know
Who won, period. I know it’s only one. The flip flop is real. 😂😂
@@mrstatum6047 won what? (think about it)
The one on the right is fine asf 😍
Just a question. Who do you guys listen to more? J. Cole or K. Dot?
@@jesusmendoza753 Cole, easy.
@@HIIMHUMAN23 He’s an easier listen, Kendrick is just more artsy and cinematic with it and has the same qualities as him but he chooses to stay in his pocket even tho casuals aren’t always into it. The same thing goes for Drake, but Cole is more introspective rap than him for sure.
@@jesusmendoza753 about equal because I love black men that build up the rest of the community but I like Cole 10x more. I think this beef showed exactly who everyone is. Cole is the middle child. He grew up with the older (Drake) but has a good relationship with the youngest (dot) he just wants to keep the peace.. even though the other parties are past that
@@Tre.Anthony2025 great assessment but to me I think it shows that “how black you are” decides how much you can explore. Dot can say anything about the black community and we would just accept it but Cole being light skin doesn’t get that leeway, their messages are up the same ally but Cole has to be more “self reflecting” about it whereas Kendrick can go as extreme as he wants. Then drakes on the outside, having to be the people pleaser to avoid being a “Canadian who doesn’t know our struggle” they all walk their tightrope flawlessly. We the people are the instigators. They all played their roles exactly as their character dictated they should. But Cole got the shortest stick by sticking to his character. we decided the narratives and decided how he should have reacted.
@@tonygalbreath6946 The reality is that it’s deeper than color and playing a certain roles, it’s how you play those roles. Kendrick isn’t extreme like that, being competitive is shit that our greats were doing to sharpen their craft. This was a culturally significant event, on real vs fake which was sparked by Drakes sensitivity and sneak dissing for a decade. The deeper you dig on what Kendrick was saying there might be some truth behind it.
Also Kendrick isn’t little bro to Cole nor is Drake no matter how he sees it, a two years difference isn’t anything.. ppl just have a thing with beef because they think it’s going to turn physical PAC and Big. The only person instigating threats by surrounding himself with white supremacist gang leaders and goofy felons is Drakes, that’s the truth. Cole and Kendrick are both self reflecting, but Kendrick has the power to say what’s on his mind and you can see the energy/passion. Whereas Cole almost come off as fake humble, which you’re not seeing it.
If you think J. Cole was going to lyrically body Kendrick you are nuts. Also Cole was saying he was Ali in First Person Shooter, let’s not forget about how this beef restarted!
Nope. Cole is a better lyricist and rapper than K dot and Drake right now. It’s just facts, he’s been rapping at a ridiculously high level.
J Cole would absolutely cook kendrick if he actually tried😂
@@bradyvanhouten2024 but he didn’t.🫤 so we will never know!🤷🏾♂️
kendrick would get cooked. have you heard pi on might delete later?
@@bradyvanhouten2024 No one delivers like Kendrick, it will not matter that Cole has 100 bars in the song, the artistic vision of Kendrick is out of touch and nuclear when he becomes a villain.
What you said about the pushback to people doing the same thing is so true! Especially when these same artists get critiqued for making music that sounds the same as what they’ve made previously. They just can’t win.
I think some fans need to accept, some artists just aren’t for you. If you don’t like what they’re making that’s too similar or too different, it’s just not for you. And that’s okay. Doesn’t mean it’s mid or they suck etc.
