Love it diesels have no attraction but where diesels need fossil fuels any steam engine can use alternate fuels (LPG or like my small model engine wood alcohol). You can not replace the sound of a finely tuned steam engine even going over the tracks have their own sound. Lovely. For the couples a once in a lifetime experience.
