Nice to see that you went into the Wurlitzer pipe chambers and explained. A lot of people think that the sounds come from speakers and the console. I think Darren had a fun day making this video..... What a way to spend a day, good times. The funny thing about the "bumper cars" is that you now get in trouble if you actually "BUMP" eachother..... Nothing like Vintage Steam, loco's "showman's" traction engines or ships, all great stuff.

A fabulous video with another behind the scenes tour. So good!
I loved how the German Oktoberfest organ was playing the theme from The Dam Busters.

Jerry cans in that green truck, the British nicked the design off the zee Germans, they all fit together like you could see. Jerrys was the nickname for Germans in the war, hence “Jerry cans”

Many years ago, my partner was invited to the home of the late Richard Preston, founder of Preston's of Potto and I tagged along thinking it would pass a few hours. He had a massive barn full of vintage steam engines, steam organs, fairground rides, sideshows etc all of which were working on the day. A fascinating man and collection, it would be interesting to know what became of it after he passed away. Also, Preston's of Potto's business premises were on the site of the disused Potto station and quite a few remnants were remaining.

Brilliant, The old 60's cars remind me of when I was growing up. In fact I had a Morris 1100 and an Austin A35 van in the late 60's early 70's. One of my friends is a showman and when I first met him in 1969 - 1970 his parents lived in one of those living vans you depicted in this episode. He ran the Dodgems his brother ran the Waltzer. This place is now on my must visit list.

@@AdventureMe They were a couple old organs to be fair.
Changing the topic slightly, I appreciate this video. I was born in Scarborough in 1992, and have been back fairly recently. I forgot how nice an area it is, I might have to move back. While living there, I lived at the top of Trafalgar Road where you could see the fair from my window. I guess not quite the same in modern years as it was done in a massive car park, but it was always very well executed. A generator driven Merry Go Round very similar to the one in your video (and I wonder if it actually the same one) was always set up close to the main entrance. I'm pretty sure there was a steam driven orchestra that played Scarborough Fair, too.
I've also seen some of these rides, Showman's and traction engines put to work at Pickering Traction Rally, and Dorset Steam Fair on multiple occasions so this video really resonated with me. It's brought back some decent childhood memories.
