I do not miss my time on a ship. I was Undesignated Seaman with Deck, worst time of my life but I learned so much as the years came on by. I struck for a rate and I am happy where I am at now. My best advice: enjoy the terrible times in the military, you can never experience moments like these when you go back to the civilian world. The worst times will make you stronger. I promise you that.
I went in the navy at 17 years old first ship was homeported in japan, my first 2 years travel to about 20 countries. I spent 20 years in on 6 ships. I seen and experience things most people never see. Retired when I was 37 years old have some great benefits for the rest of my life. The navy is hard work long hours but I met a lot of great people, best time of my life a lot of good memories.
Super scared honestly but I left MEPS yesterday I have to get a wavier and then should be good I keep overthinking my decision but ima join if I don’t I’m going to Wish I did and these years are going to go by I’m 20 now I’m praying I’m making the right decision great video keep it up ! Personally, I get treated good. Ion let NOBODY play with me. Period. Don’t care who it is. And I also feel like a lot of ppl can’t take me. I’m too much too real and im okay with that. As far as the personal hygiene there’s no limitations on that. Bring your whole bathroom if you want lol
