- #120. Well folks, it's March 13th, so help me celebrate my birthday with one of the coolest live Rock 'n Roll Medleys performed by Elvis and the TCB band in Memphis, TN in March of 1974. I would've loved to have been at that show!
This was fun, I hope you tap, sing, move along... and if you haven't, go check out the actual medley! Enjoy. ....Oh, and thank you to GARY for giving me this request and challenge about a week ago! You got it stuck in my brain, day and night and I just couldn't let it go!!! Rock ON!

I remember the first time I heard this medley on vinyl years ago and it was awesome! My friend not only was that a truly authentic rendition but .... was equally AWESOME!!!

This was fun, Gary. Prob my fav concerts from the 70’s... just the spirit, energy and overall sound. The band is spot on, and Elvis is in tip-top form.
This was a challenge as the tempo and adrenaline are prevalent to being onstage in front of a crowd. We tend to speed things up sometimes on stage so I had to really focus and perform it as tho I was on stage!
I’ve also heard it so many times that it was hard for me not to say “I saw JD, with bald headed Sally!”
It was fun and I thank you for the challenge.

I really enjoyed this, especially the last minute or so as you got it spot on.
I love it how no Elvis song seems off limits to you and you always come through with a great rendition.
